Hi Basilis,
Thanks for your reply. That didn’t work unfortunately.
March 25, 2019 at 12:39 am in reply to: Mailchimp widget in footer not showing up on blog post pages #1082423Hi Victoria,
I just tried deactivating them one by one, and it didn’t do anything unfortunately.
Hi basilis,
Thanks for your reply! What you provided will make the header background white at all times. What I need is something that makes the header background white with no transparency on scroll when the header is sticky.
Just following up on this. Thanks :)

Hi Victoria,
Thanks for your response. I’m actually trying to do the opposite of what you are saying here. I want the entire header to be a solid white when scrolling down instead of slightly transparent.
thank you!!
Hi Jordan,
It looks like my browser was cached and that’s why I couldn’t see it the active menu bar. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Thanks for your response! About how much do you think this would cost to implement? A ballpark figure is fine, and I wouldn’t hold you to this number. Just curious, thanks again!
Hi Jordan!
I feel like there might be a misunderstanding as I sense it should be a relatively quick fix. The theme options allow you three options for the header and i have it set to the following because it’s the only one that lets you have the active menu indicator:
default (with borders, active menu indicator, slightly transparent)
Because of this setting, it’s causing the header to be slightly transparent once you scroll down the page. Is there a way to adjust this to have it not be slightly transparent, and just a solid white, while keeping the active menu indicator?
Thanks so much you guys are awesome!
Thank you! It worked but only issue with this that it also changes the color of the text on the contact us form on the contact us page. Is there a way to isolate it to just this one section?
Thanks Jordan!! That worked perfectly.
One more question that is related. The left hand side of the header is slightly transparent when I start to scroll down. Is there any way to make it completely solid white and not transparent? I tried locating the CSS class for this with no luck.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Nikki,
I just placed that exact code into the bottom of my child theme’s function.php and it ended up showing on the live site. I removed it so you can’t see it now but I can share a screenshot if needed. How do I implement this code but have it not show on the live site?
Thanks
That’s perfect. thanks so much Nikko!
Would you mind marking your post from 11::48pm as private? Thanks!
I’m actually a bit confused. Are you saying the above code, as you provided should be exactly what is entered into the functions.php?
Thanks Nikko!
Can you please mark the above reply you just sent as private? Thanks again!
Thank you! So just to make sure, is this would it should look like in function.php file? (see private area)
Hi Ismael,
I’m still a bit confused, sorry if I’m misunderstanding or missing something!
I want to add this to every blog post page. It is a an element I saved as a template called “CTA”. How do I specify this template be added to the bottom of every blog post page? If you could elaborate or break it down a bit more it would be much appreciate. Thanks :)
I’m experiencing the same thing, although it believe it may have something to do with the recent wordpress update?
Thank you!
just wanted to follow up on this, thank you
Yes, but i’m not sure what code to place here.
please see private area
What do I add to the index.php file though?
Hi Rikard,
Thank you, i’m not sure how to go about doing that…would you mind elaborating?
Thanks so much,
Hi Ismael,
I think the z-inex of where the nav is located should be decreased, right? Since we want it to sit below the footer and not atop of it?
Is there an easy way to do this? I tried using the following but it just distorted the image:
.small-preview img, .big-preview img { height: 421px !important; width: 845px !important; }
”
Perhaps there’s a way to modify it in the theme functions?
Please see private area. Thanks!
Yes, it still doesn’t work in incognito. And yes, it’s only when I use that link, or I think any links on the course report site. It might have to do with the popups on the site i’m thinking.
Hi Ismael!
Thanks so much for the suggestion. I just tried using it but unfortunately it did the same exact thing. Are there any other suggestions?
Hi Ismael,
I’m not sure what that means. Could you elaborate?
