Thanks for your support. It’s a bit busy right now. And I have found another way to use the events calendar (without using the Enfold ‘magazine’. But I would love to use it again because of the way it worked for us. I know about the default behavior, but there was another problem. I will try to make an hidden page with that setup. What I saw was (example) an event start date om may 8th. I publised it on may 4th. and the magazine showed a date on may 7th.
I wil get back soon with an specific page with the setup I used before.
I don’t think it is the same issue. It also does not help. I have changed /wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_upcoming.php with the suggested file but it does not change anything

Temporary login almost expired. The problem just got way bigger after updating the regular release of The Events Calendar today. The upcomings events only show the upcoming events. Meaning only the one what haven’t started yet. And not the events already active. It made my page useless so I used another option in the menu. The original problem on our homepage which shows NOT the last published order but the events in order of upcoming dates remains a problem. I think we have to remove that part of our Homepage soon.

No, it was alway’s in order of last published event Now it is ordered on startdate of the event itself. The original headline of this item was (translated) NEW in the Kunstlijn Haarlem Agenda (new in the event calendar). The big problem is of course that the now shown article does show itself on the first place not because it is newly published, but it had a long time to wait before it starts. And again, it alsway’s worked, unitl the last problems with the events calendar/enfold update.Hi Mike, thank you so much. We will wait for the fix. I’m sure it will be alright. We have great faith in you guys and girls ;-)
I updatet enfold again to see the effect and its the same again. Watch or edit https://www.kunstlijnhaarlem.nl/expositie/willem-hamers-schilderijen-en-collages/ so you can see masonry is in place but not showing.
I rolled back to the former version so everything is oke now. It confirms the problem lies with enfold 4.5.4
