This resolved the issue. Thank you.
October 20, 2020 at 8:55 pm in reply to: Enfold Admin Menu not working and more since update to Version: 4.7.6.2 #1254442Any thoughts here? I’m having the same issue. Since update, the Enfold theme menu in WP admin area does not display. Works fine on my local, but not on production. DB’s are identical, as are plugins.
Looks like issue with JQuery.
Errors in console:
Uncaught TypeError: createElementButton.live is not a function
/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/js/avia_dynamic_templates.js?ver=5.0:52Uncaught TypeError: s is undefined
/wp-includes/js/wp-auth-check.min.js?ver=5.5.1:2What’s the best way to make the Category as a link to its archive page?
And will this code loop and display multiple categories?

The functions.php code they offer in the link below does work. You’ll need to open and resave the entry to get it to update/write correctly.
A more permanent fix is still needed. We would need to edit over 100 events with this method.

March 8, 2019 at 7:32 pm in reply to: Shortcodes for toggles and contact forms do not work anymore #1076447This does not work in every case. We need the shortcodes working in the general post view with The Events Calendar. We have over 100 events already built in the normal editor view using shortcodes for buttons. There a solution coming soon for this? This is an theme and plugin update issue. thanks.
I’m having a similar issue and am awaiting a response.
March 7, 2019 at 9:25 pm in reply to: The Events Calendar – Single Event – Inserting Enfold button shortcode #1076119I’m having the same problem here. When using Enfold shortcodes in an event description (i.e. Button), the button does not display on the published post. It will display when previewed, just not on the Live post. This problem occurred just after most recent Enfold and Tribe updates.

January 7, 2019 at 7:46 pm in reply to: Sorting Portfolio Items differently in different cases #1051025Got this working. My syntax was wrong in functions.php to find the page id. You can close this out.
January 7, 2019 at 5:04 am in reply to: Sorting Portfolio Items differently in different cases #1050736Thank you, Ismael. This makes perfect sense. I’ll give it a try.
December 4, 2018 at 11:34 pm in reply to: Sorting Portfolio Items differently in different cases #1040994Update – so I’ve installed the Multiple Post Type Order plugin, and can separate two different order systems for the portfolio cpt. Just having a little trouble knowing how to call the appropriate
orderby
,meta_key
, etc in the Portfolio Grid. I do have two separate functions running for each sort – one by my home ACF number, the other by the order from the plugin – but can’t seem to isolate their use in different instances.September 25, 2018 at 3:05 pm in reply to: Known issues with multiple Easy Sliders on the same page? #1014211Looks like it may be confined to Chrome. Safari seems to be ok today.

September 11, 2018 at 7:47 pm in reply to: Events Calendar plugin update and styling issues #1008551Thanks again for providing the updated styelsheet. It works for the most part, but there’s still some color and alignment problems. There’s also the mobile view missing, which has the abbreviated calendar with dots.
I’ve managed to get my calendar looking correct through a healthy bit of custom styles, but hopefully you can work out the rest of the bugs before the next Enfold release. Reverting Events Calendar and its Pro version isn’t fun, and would be required of anyone updating that plugin under the current theme.
thanks again.
Thank you, Ismael. I’ll give this a shot. I appreciate it.
Our team very much enjoys working with Enfold. It’s a time saver a lot of times, and allows us to iterate and design quickly.
However, I believe the Enfold team needs to revisit its styles for Events Calendar by Modern Tribe. The overwrite styles are not working correctly. Nav and options are hidden on mobile, inconsistent styles and incorrect formatting. I have two days into adding !important to a custom tribe-events.css so I can fix the basic inconsistencies, only to have to add more because it’s being overwritten by event-mod.css – an Enfold stylesheet.
if you’re going to say you support the plugin on your site, and you offer a config-events-calendar directory in your theme to style it, then please update those styles within Enfold so our sites don’t break, still two months after a plugin update.
https://wpshindig.com/Regarding removal of the function, how would you suggest we do this using a child theme?
Chiming in here – As listed in the initial post, all of Modern Tribe’s solutions for fixing the Enfold bugs have to do with the style sheet selector in Events > Settings > Display. But in Enfold, this selector is not visible. We should be able to choose from the following:
• tribe events styles
• Full Styles
• Skeleton stylesBut the selector is not visible in the admin of Enfold.
Can you confirm that your demo is using the most recent version of Events Calendar? Their most current demo has the title above the nav bar. As seen here. Your Enfold demo has a different layout – the nav bar is above title and pagination. This layout change came with the most recent update of TEC.
I recommend you proof the Enfold styles using a clean wordpress install, the most current Enfold theme, and the most current Events Calendar plugin. The styles are incorrect.

May 7, 2018 at 3:15 pm in reply to: Featured Image and Tags not displaying in Admin for Portfolio Items #952706Any idea why this happens? I’m still unable to replicate the solution on my local install. Advanced Custom Fields is activated, but still no Featured Image or Tags available to select in the Screen settings. If I deactivate it, I see that those are available. But when ACF is activated again, they disappear from the admin menu, and not available on the Screen Options.
May 4, 2018 at 6:54 pm in reply to: Featured Image and Tags not displaying in Admin for Portfolio Items #951810At one point I did install WooCommerce, so not sure if maybe that messed with something… ?
May 4, 2018 at 3:04 pm in reply to: Featured Image and Tags not displaying in Admin for Portfolio Items #951715I’ve removed any reference to /includes, /admin and register-portfolio.php from the child theme. Tags and Featured Image still missing from portfolio item post type. Any other ideas?

Thanks for the reply, Nikko.
I know how to save layout templates using the Save Template feature. My true question revolves around the ability to either update the Layout Template when it’s changed across other posts that use that saved layout, or turning the Layout Template into a modified Portfolio Post template so when I need to make edits to layouts, they propagate across all posts that use it.For example, if I have create a Layout Template where a slideshow is on the left half, and a content block is on the right, I can save the Layout Template. Then as I create new posts, I can apply that Layout Template to give me a starting point. However, after I’ve done 100 of those, and the client decides they want the slideshow to be full width, I’m unable to make a global change to the Layout Template that applies to all 100 posts. I would have to go into every single one and make that change. Ideally I would be able to go into the Portfolio Post Template, make the change in html and css, save, and it would apply to all 100 of those posts. Make sense?
thanks for the help.
