DevinHey Mark!
Update your theme files to 2.6.4 as there was a bug with .3. For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

DevinHi makeitbritish!
You need to update your version of the theme so that its up to date with the most recent version of WordPress and bug fixes.

Your images in the slideshow need to have transparent backgrounds. The background image position should be whatever you want so that it covers the background as needed and is aligned in that container how you want.

DevinHi bozemanka!
Make sure you fully clear your browser cache so that the new WordPress visual editor scripts and supporting files can load in fresh. Your browser has most likely already cached them because you’ve visited your own site so many times.
Best regards,
DevinHey!
There was a bug with 2.6.3 and an update is in the ThemeForest queue for approval. You should be able to download the update and install shortly.
Cheers!
DevinHey Justin!
In the full download on ThemeForest there is a child theme included. You can also make your own by following along with this video: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/
Regards,
DevinWe can’t change or fix the scripts loading in before the content. Those that load in the footer or can already do so.
April 16, 2014 at 6:18 pm in reply to: Menu broken after update to enfold 2.6 and header configurator does not work #252247Did you use the same header.php as in the parent? Eg, re-setting to use the themes header configuration in full and removing any child theme customization in both functions and css.
Hey!
Enfold update is in the queue for approval from ThemeForest. Keep an eye on your email update if you have it enabled. The WordPress update checks every twelve hours so if you need the update sooner you can update manually once its live on the Envato servers.

The easiest way around that is to update manually via FTP or by uploading within WordPress (just like you first installed).

DevinHi!
Which spanish language version of WordPress do you have installed? You can see all of the available languages for the theme in the themes files. Look in the lang folder for the mo and po files to see if your country code is already present.
Best regards,
DevinHi Pedro!
You can use that filter right below:
$boxes = apply_filters('avf_builder_boxes', $boxes);
Cheers!
DevinI didn’t mean to allude that it isn’t a theme issue. The layout builder definitely does take more memory to run when you are editing a page than a non visual editor.
The more plugins and more capabilities your theme has the more memory you will need to let everything run together and smoothly.
There is no way around it, if you are running out of memory you either need more or you will need to find a way to use less. The theme alone doesn’t *need* more than 64mb but when combined with other plugins who have their own requirements you would need more available.
Hi!
IE8 doesn’t support media queries so the theme falls back to the base width which doesn’t fit your menu+logo. If you wanted to keep the same logo and menu then a IE css stylesheet could be loaded in through your child theme to shrink the header logo.

DevinHey MtnStreamGroup!
I run my dev install with 128 and it hasn’t ever run into issues while running bbPress, WooCommerce and a handful of other plugins and hundreds of pages, posts and portfolio items. I’ve not done anything with Gravity Forms but if you are running into issues then the only real solution is to increase your memory limit either by switching hosts, upgrading your current plan or maybe by convincing the host to increase it.
There isn’t a hard minimum that we have in place for a must-have since it really depends on the individual usage. On some sites I’ve set up for clients they have only ever had 64 and had no issues but they weren’t using any significant plugins.
Best regards,
DevinHey!
First thing to do is update your version of Enfold as the .1 and .2 releases had some bug fixes.
As for IE, if you hadnt updated in a long time you could have been on an old version if IE8. IE8 usage is pretty minor: http://theie8countdown.com/ , the theme does however still have fairly good support for it.
What you were running into was probably the smaller width of the site on IE (because it doesn’t support media queries) not being able to fit your menu width. Testing your site in IE8 now, that is definitely the case. The solution is to decrease the length of your menu in this instance if you still want to prevent that from happening for IE8 users.
2) The custom fonts are loaded in via google font with no theme customization. If you can see google fonts loaded in on their site you should be seeing it through your browser: https://www.google.com/fonts
Looking at your site now I see your headings as ‘Terminal Dosis’ .
3) You can change the font weight with:
.sub_menu>ul>li>a, .sub_menu>div>ul>li>a { font-weight: normal; }
4) There is an unclosed div or something like that on that contact pages content. Check over the data you’ve added in to display the qr code and other content as that is causing an error with the footer.
Cheers!
DevinApril 16, 2014 at 2:29 am in reply to: Major confusion and issues with Product Category Images, Product Thumnails #251892By default the single product image will be 450 pixels wide. The height is then scaled by WordPress to fit that width. If the option in WooCommerce is set to crop then it crops to fit the other edge.
If however the vertical edge is above 999 pixels (or whatever value is set for that edge) then WordPress sizes the image from that edge instead. Again, you can change the amount by which WordPress and WooCommerce do this in the WooCommerce settings.
April 16, 2014 at 2:19 am in reply to: Elements Not Being Saved When Updated in Advanced Layout Editor #251889Hi msbllc!
First make sure you are running 2.6.2 of the theme files. Then try deactivating all active plugins just in case there is a conflict. The last is to increase the WordPress memory limit to above 64mb (128 is typical at this point): http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/
Best regards,
DevinHey Konstantin!
Removing the version isn’t mentioned from what I can see but I found a blog post with some functions you can try: http://techtalk.virendrachandak.com/how-to-remove-wordpress-version-parameter-from-js-and-css-files/
The blocking js isn’t something that I know of a way to solve since its needed to render the page. This is a limitation of using those elements which need that javascript.
Best regards,
DevinHi TSG_Web!
Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
#top .av-main-nav .current-page-ancestor .avia-menu-fx { visibility: visible; opacity: 1; bottom: 0px; }

DevinHi spallen8877!
Which portfolio display is this with? Can we see what you have live now?

DevinApril 15, 2014 at 7:15 pm in reply to: Menu broken after update to enfold 2.6 and header configurator does not work #251758Hi spesenfuchs!
Sounds like your child theme has a header.php file but you didn’t update that file to reflect the changes in the parent theme. You will need to copy over the new file and then make your changes to it.
Regards,
DevinHey awilson3rd!
The ajax portfolio images should be at least 684 pixels wide. Its one of the few hard limits the theme has for setting up content but because of the way the portfolio items are pulled in via ajax Kriesi limited them to a specific layout.
The thumbnails below them can be modified by changing your WordPress thumbnail size and/or the number of columns to be shown. The column count dictates the size of the square, the thumbnail size is the source used.
For you, since the images are already in photoshop I would say just run an action to resave them at a larger size since it can be automated and run as a batch. If the sources aren’t large enough then the ajax portfolio may not be a good fit unless you are looking to have the theme files customized.
Cheers!
DevinHi Isabelle!
Just from that description there isn’t much we could offer as a suggestion. Typically a slow backend is associated with a poor server configuration that has issues with the theme or active plugins usage of ajax.
On the front end it could be server related as well but also large images, video or another plugin loading in lots of additional scripts.
Best regards,
Devin -
