Hi svetkol!
I would never ever recommend doing that. The WooCommerce documentation has lots of examples on how to safely customize the plugin so that you can update. Make sure changes in that way and then you’ll be safe to update: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/template-structure/
If you have questions the WooCommerce forums will be your best route for an up to date answer.
Cheers!
DevinHi Martin!
That shouldn’t be the case no. Without seeing it first hand or having it repeat I’m not sure where we could check for an issue.
We’ll keep an eye on the demo imports however and if we do find a bug it will definitely get patched :)
Regards,
DevinHey Brad!
From the Theme Options go to the “Demo Import” tab and select it from the image thumbnails of the different layouts.
Regards,
DevinI’m not able to log in to your site but take a look at this video: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-advanced-layout-editor/
It looks like the default comment output might have been removed at some point so for the short term you’ll need to switch to the Avia Layout Builder by clicking on the Advanced Layout Builder button on that page. Then go to the Content Elements tab and drag the Comments element down below your text element to add it to the page layout.
Hi Randall!
Posts themselves can’t use it at the moment.
The blog style choice there lets you choose the root “blog” page for all of your site to be one of the preset layouts or one of your choosing. So you could have a page setup where the blog feed is alongside other elements instead of having only the feed.

DevinOctober 3, 2014 at 1:06 am in reply to: Have Blog Sidebars been affected by the upgrade to V3? #329377Hi elinwood!
Go to your Appearance>Widgets in WordPress and move the widgets where you want them to show.
If any of the Widget areas (sidebars) get removed or shuffled it can cause the widgets inside of them to shift. One of your sidebar areas must have moved or been added to/removed and the shift in widgets is the result.
Best regards,
DevinI’m not sure there is anything that *we* can actually do in this case. LayerSlider is not Kriesi’s plugin or code and we don’t have the ability to alter it to work with other plugins or scripts.
Hi tommie2509!
What specific issues are you having with smaller screens? Looking at your site now its adjusting exactly as it should be.
Regards,
DevinHey connect4consulting!
Try deactivating all active plugins and then updating over FTP following the steps in this video: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
It sounds like there may have been an issue when updating or maybe a conflict with a plugin caused it not to fully unpack the update.
Regards,
DevinHi!
It looks like there are some errors with the javascript of the theme. It is typically caused by a conflict with a plugin or a broken file when uploading.
Try deactivating all active plugins after you have cleared the cache of W3TC and then see if that helps.
Cheers!
DevinOctober 2, 2014 at 10:44 pm in reply to: [Enfold + WooCommerce] No link to the cart or checkout on mobile #329308I definitely do not disagree :)
The visual in the header wouldn’t work for the vast majority of users however. I think something built into the menu would be a stronger solution even though it would take a second click. Either that or a top level bar that shows up only on mobile.
Hey!
What aribann posted seems like a pretty solid solution :)
Regards,
DevinHi Ester1234!
Use the biggest image possible that doesn’t have a huge filesize. Also take into account that the fullscreen slider *will* crop the edges off your image poorly because it needs to scale and fill the full screen of every user.
So using something generic that could have 80% of the edges cut off when a mobile user looks at the site is best.
Regards,
DevinHi COLORIT!
Yes but you would need to create the widget areas and add the function there manually using the WordPress functions/php. Not with anything the theme offers in this case.
Best regards,
Devin@sadephoi – That is from whatever plugin is outputing the google webmaster verification code (that code is what that is). Not part of the theme in this case.
Hey!
The missing css file error happens when you don’t unzip the initial download you get from ThemeForest. If you have any issues uploading from the WordPress admin you can install over FTP in just a few minutes by following along with this step by step video: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/
Cheers!
DevinHey bakbek!
They aren’t layouts to choose from but are overall theme options and page layouts combined to create a full site. You can load in that data from the Theme Options>Demo Import section. Just keep in mind it will write over and change all currently active theme options for color, font etc.
Regards,
DevinHey DavidMiles!
You can remove the integration by commenting out this line in your functions.php:
require_once( 'config-events-calendar/config.php' ); //compatibility with the Events Calendar plugin
Cheers!
DevinHi Nathan!
If you are using the layout builder you need to add in the comment element on to the page where you want the comments to show up.
Regards,
DevinHi MaureenMijne!
If you are using WordPress 4.0 you must be using Enfold version 2.9.2+. The spinning wheel issue is a response when using the new WordPress version with an old outdated theme version.
Cheers!
DevinYou *must* use 2.9.2+ to also use WordPress 4.0+. The 2.9.2 update brought the theme up to date with WordPress 4.0.
3.0 is a huge update however so if you have a lot of child theme customizations I would suggest moving back to a previous version of WordPress and then setting up a dev site to test the new 3.0 theme update and WordPress 4.0 on your child theme.
Hey!
In your functions.php remove this line:
require_once( 'config-events-calendar/config.php' ); //compatibility with the Events Calendar plugin
That will remove the new theme styling/integration so its the same as before.
Best regards,
DevinHi MindSpark!
Although support doesn’t cover customization like that we do have some functions in place that let you change the single product page layout fairly easily. See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/change-woocommerce-single-product-page-layout/
The code on that docs page is an example I did to show how to move the sidebar to the right.
Best regards,
DevinHey FoundationsFour!
Are you using Enfold version 3.0? Are you getting any errors that we could see?
Cheers!
DevinHey jurgen1979!
Not at the moment no. You could try adding in the raw shortcode for it but it isn’t something that has been tested so and with the hotspots specifically I think it would have some responsive conflicts when nested like that.
Best regards,
DevinHi jorgepavajeau!
Clear your browser cache and check the element again. That window is quite a bit different now and when looking at it on your site I’m having no issues.
Best regards,
DevinHi Luken123!
It looks like you added some code to the avia.js incorrectly and its causing your issues. Try removing it and see if that cleans things up.
Best regards,
DevinHi hobart!
It looks like you might have changed the image size for the single product photos to 999 height: boxed-eave-image-450×999.jpg
Check the WooCommerce settings and change the size in the options to 450×450. Then save and regenerate your thumbnails with this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Cheers!
DevinHi!
It looks like something on the “Homepage” alone is causing an issue. The quickest way to work around that and move on would be to create a new homepage and edit it as needed.
Also note that the theme does not support qTranslate for translations so there may be issues down the road if that is the plugin for translation you will be using.
Cheers!
DevinHi!
Try the function here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/remove-the-import-dummy-data-button/
If you are using a child theme you can keep it in the child theme functions file and remove when needed manually.
Cheers!
