Hey All!

WordPress 4.0 can only work with Enfold version 2.9.2+. Updating does not remove any page data.

If you are having a plugin conflict with WordPress 4.0 make sure you deactivate it. If you have plugins that are not compatible with 4.0 then you need to update or deactivate them.

If you have any other issues let us know in a new topic with admin credentials as private data. So far we have had a small handful of quick fixes come up but nothing that has warranted a bug fix release at this point. This is over the span of 30k users so theme bugs should be highlighted very quickly for us but so far have not.

So if you are still having issues make a new topic just for your issue and site so that we can take a look.

It should have no issues with WordPress 4.0. I don’t think Kriesi has run the theme through that specific plugin but it has private security and code audits.

Unfortunately the same effects aren’t available for plain text. You would need to add the text to an image to get the same animation options.

I’m not really sure what you mean. If there are any items you want to edit that can be done by clicking on them from the layout builder and then editing the padding, styles etc.

For the logos, the source images are already cropped too small: http://www.generatorservicing.com/new/wp-content/uploads/kn32-80×80.png

The image could be uploaded at a large square size and they will then scale down correctly.

The setting should be tied to the general theme sidebar setting for pages. If you go to the theme options and choose the option for pages to have a default sidebar turned on then all single product pages will show the sidebar.

Theme updates don’t update automatically in general. As for updating, the link above has a video showing step by step directions and is our documentation answering your question.

The reason we don’t have a how-to for every page on the demo is because the dummy data that can be imported from the theme options already includes all of the home pages. So when you import it in, you get that page fully created for you.

If you turn on the debug field for the ALB you could paste in the raw shortcode data on a new page which would prepopulate the layout editor with the elements that are on that page. Here is the raw data for that:

Hi jscarlett!

It seems like there is a new issue with the menu import but thankfully its a pretty quick fix. The WordPress menus maanger allows you to modify the menu however you want which every user would need to do anyway to get their site online.

At around the 40 second mark it shows how the items should look correctly nested and in general will help with setting up the more advanced mega menu look.

The transparent header I’ve not done a tutorial for but if you go to any page and edit it, there is a meta box option the right hand side for the header style. One of those is the transparent/glass style.

In the header configurator (http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/intro-to-the-header-configurator/) you can set up the other logo which will show when you have the transparent option set on a page.

@webguy_ccta – That isn’t a theme error but a general WordPress error. Try deactivating all active plugins and see if it helps. You can also try doing a re-update of WordPress from the WordPress dashboard in the Updates menu.
