Mike, the screenshot steps worked a treat. Thank you!
I’m reviving this thread because the problem have started again, despite updating Enfold to the latest version a couple of days ago and still employing the spam plugin that I recommend to others.
It is the same spambot(?) with (Email address hidden if logged out) . All my forms uses captcha so I’m not sure how we can tackle it this time.
Please advise.
Thanks.
All cool now, Rikard. Consider it solved!
My thanks to the team!
Thank you , Victoria! Seems to work now – never built a menu before but somehow managed!
Cheers.
I’m not sure what you mean by replicating as I only see the headers being displayed once – they’re just overlapping.
Currently I have 3 plug-ins, I have turned of the first two (made no difference) but don’t know how to disable the third (see below), so you’re welcome to try and see if this makes a difference:-
1) Anti-Spam by CleanTalk – would like to keep this as since a few months ago users of Enfold were getting an influx of spam, including me.
2) All-in-One WP Migration – can turn off for now.
3) advanced-cache.php – not sure what this is as it’s not listed in the actual plugin section. Can remove if necessary.OK, changed rights to admin. Login details as before.
Thanks.
here you you guys…
Hi guys, do consider Spam Protection by CleanTalk plugin, honestly. It did the job for me, not a single spam now. At least until this is resolved, especially if your clients are suffering daily!
To be fair, since using the built-in captcha, I’ve never received any spam in the past couple of years using a form contact (i.e. never had to install plugin etc.). However, someone/some bot have obviously cracked this, hence the sudden influx of spam. I’m sure as developers you’ll find another solution to combat this in the future updates. Enfold is a much loved theme and it would be a shame if no progress is made after these reports.
Yeah that’s the one. Hope it works for you too…
yes – I changed nothing other than installing the plug-in.
Hi guys, just thought I’d update everyone about the spam plug-in that I installed last week. Now I know it’s only been a few days, but I know how frustrating it is if you’re getting spam daily, so just wanted you to know that since installing Spam Protection by CleanTalk, I’ve not had a single spam getting through!
So at least as a short term solution until Enfold theme is better equipped, this free plug in seems to have do the job very well.
Hi guys,
I’ve just install a new spam plug-in and I’ll update here in a week’s time to see if that’s worked.
No solution as of yet, might have to use a plug-in, which I’m reluctant to do as it can slow things down or cause conflicts since WP now automatically do the updates for you. Not an ideal situation. All was working so well up to this point…
Not really that practical considering and getting at least one new one everyday :-/
Everything was fine before…
Thanks!
Actually, Jordan was right, it was the memory limit. Spoke to provider now resolved.
Thanks guys!
In fact, I cannot import any of the demos. Link + login below.
Wow, that’s a bunch! Dod you which of the 3 plugins would do that? Should I just not use any of them?
Appreciate your help pal!
Definitely not! How could that have happened??

Sure, it’s: desong.co.uk/blog
Hi, tried it, but no change :-/
This is what I’ve done…
Thanks Ismael, but where do I place this? In Enfold>General Styling>Quick CSS? I currently already have this in the box:-
.avia-mac .flex_column { -webkit-transform: translateZ(0); }
which was supposed to stop the various headers/links ‘pulsing’ but it only reduced the effect but it still flickers (using Safari on a mac).
Hi, there is no ‘menu settings’ anywhere?? See enclosed image:
I don’t understand the bit about how to set the main menu. When I go to Appearance > Menus, then what do I do? I can see greyed out links/pages with tick boxes on the left, then on the right, the option to create menu.
Just FYI, after changing the Blog to password protect (from private), it’s fully accessible – you can see the link on the header, AND able to click on all the entries, i.e. no password needed! Am I missing something?
Currently the Blog page is set as Private, so no one can see the link on the header. BUT, if you Google search will list this link when you search for my website. I want to STOP people seeing this Blog page (and therefore all of it’s associated entries).
But I only have 3 options to do this:-
1) set the Blog page as private, which is what I have done but if you type myURL/blog it will still show the page, and so does Google search.
2) set it to password protect, but this will show the Blog link on the header – I don’t like this as you’re showing the site visitors a link only to not give them access.
3) delete the entire Blog content, which I’m not ready to do just yet.
So, I want it hidden AND unaccessible. Is that possible? Just to be clear, I’m referring to the entire Blog page, not individual entries!
But if I choose that, that would make the link visible – I want to hide it for now, AND if someone follows the link through Google, they still would not be able to access it. I need both – or another viable solution without deleting the entire blog section.
