Thank you for your help Ismael! It works great and I installed the child theme. Thanks again!
Thank you Ismael. I added this to the end of functions.php but the testimonial links are still opening in a new window (I also tested the code for same question that was posted in 2015 and 2016). I deleted the cache and also checked different browsers. Could you please take a look and advise? Thank you.
THANK YOU Nikko!!! Thank you so much for your expertise and your help, the font looks fantastic!! I highly appreciate it, you’re the best!!
Hi Nikko, Thanks for doing that!
There are some elements in Advanced Styling section where I’ve chosen the font, but it’s not showing.
For example, the Menu Links in overlay/slide out and buttons are not showing the font. How can we get the font to show?
For some areas that are not updated through Advanced CSS, such as the image overlay text, how I can update the webfont in the CSS? I have specified using the font in the Quick Styles, but they are not showing there either.
I’ve included the previous screenshot to point out these items, hope this helps!
Thank you for your thoughts Nikko!
Thank you for your message Nikko!
Media Library would not allow the upload, so I tried your suggestion. Please see the private content area.
I look forward to your advice!
Thanks Nikko!
Yes, the font is rendering properly in some places. In those places, I’ve selected the font within Advanced CSS (H1, H2, H3, for example).
There are some areas that are not rendering properly. I’ve included a screenshot with those areas circled in red in the Private Data area. These are showing a different font form the Webfont.
I tried selecting the font for some of these areas in Advanced CSS, but it’s not working.
For some areas that are not updated through Advanced CSS, such as the image overlay text, how I can update the webfont in the CSS?
Thank you so much Nikko!
Hi Nikko,
Thank you so much for your advice! I did the conversions as you recommended and see that the font is mostly working in Safari and Firefox, thank you!
The font is working when I choose it in Advanced Styling (H1, H2, H3). However, for some items like the buttons and the image text overlay, it’s not showing, even though I’ve specified it in the Quick CSS. I’ve included the Quick CSS below.
For the buttons, I’ve specified the webfont in the Advanced CSS as well, and that’s not showing.
Could you please advise on how I can get the font showing for those areas (and other areas of the site that are not available through Advanced Styling)?
Thank you very much Nikko!
Thank you, Ismael, this works great!
Yes, the topic is settled, Jordan. Thank you and your team for all your help!
Thanks so much Rikard!! I’m so appreciative of your very timely and helpful support, it works!
Thank you so much for your help Rikard!! That works perfectly!!
This is great, thank you so very much Rikard!! 🙏
Hi Rikard, Thank you for this.
What’s the syntax for what goes inside “data-av_icon” ?:
<span data-av_icon=”” data-av_iconfont=”entypo-fontello” style=”height: 44px; line-height: 44px;”></span>
For example, if I want to display a heart icon (ue806), I added the following, but it did not work:
<span data-av_icon=”ue806″ data-av_iconfont=”entypo-fontello” style=”height: 44px; line-height: 44px;”></span>
In your comments it looks like an empty square is within “data_av_icon”, can you please provide an example of what should go in there?
Thank you very much!
Hi Rikard, Please see below for the info. Thank you for your help!
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your advice. I tried it out but it doesn’t seem to be working. Any other ideas?
Thanks!
Thank you so much Rikard! You guys have such great support!
Thank you so much for your awesome support Ismael! This works perfectly!!
Hi Ismael,
This is fantastic, thank you for your help!
One question, is it possible to get the text to wrap within the table cells, so the text doesn’t overlap the cells next to them?
Thank you!!
Thanks Jordan! Fantastic support!!
THANKS Rikard, this works great!! You’re the best!!
Hi Rikard,
I’ve changed it to the following, and still it’s not making a difference after I clear the cache, can you please advise as to how to reduce the space between the slider caption and button for mobile?
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.home .avia-slideshow-button {
margin-top: -60px;
}
}Thanks!
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your help! I’m trying to close up the space even more between the caption and button, and adjusted it to the following:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.home .avia-slideshow-button {
margin-top: -60px;
}
}However the change is still not showing up for me, even with clearing the cache a few times. Could you please advise?
Thank you!
Hi Rikard,
Thank you. I tried this but it’s not working for me. I also tried this CSS alone in the Quick CSS box and cleared the cache, and that didn’t work either.
I’m basically trying to eliminate that extra space, so the slider caption and button is closer to together for the mobile view, vertically aligned.
What do you advise?
Thank you!
Thank you very much Jordan for your quick reply, it works great!! I’m grateful for your help!
Thank you for your help Rikard! I think this has resolved the issue, I’m no longer seeing the font weight difference. Thank you!
Jordan and Victoria, That works great.
Thank you so much for the excellent support that you provide, as always!Hi Victoria,
Thank you for your advice and for taking the time to create that screenshot!
I tried your CSS and made some adjustments to create the square image, it’s looking good.
One question, there is a gap between the blog title / category name and the start of the text excerpt wrapping around the image. Is it possible to reduce the space in that gap as shown in the screenshots below?
Thank you, I think we’re all set after this!
Thank you for your advice Victoria!!
I added the CSS and adjusted it to 180 x 180px to make it slightly larger.
In the Blog Posts element, I also adjusted the “custom preview image size” to 180 x 180px.
However, the image appears with a rectangular format rather than a square, and has a gray gap at the bottom. Is there a way to have the image fill the 180×180 square completely?
Thank you for your help!
Hi again Victoria,
Thank you again for your help!
I have a couple more questions about this same thread.Is it possible to make the small preview pic bigger, to 150 x 150px?
Currently the small preview pic is floating to the left of the blog title; is it possible to have it float to the left of the excerpt instead? I’ve attached screenshots to show what I mean.
Thank you!
That is wonderful! Thank you so much for your help, Victoria!! :)
