    Hi Mike,
    Thanks for the reply.
I have looked through the trash and also the media
In the private area I’ve put the details you requested also a link to a page that I can’t find.
It says it news but there is nothing in the news, media or even looking through the database I cannot find the pages.

No all good now thanks Mike :)
    I actually deleted IE

in reply to: contact 7 form not working properly still #924936

I only use Chrome Firefox is too slow and uses too many resources and my site wont open on IE.
Yes I see it does perform correctly on Firefox, so I guess I have to put up with the way Chrome displays it.
    Thanks for the information :)

    Thanks Basil
But when I installed YoastSEO I had nothing but issues and had to uninstall it.

in reply to: Contact 7 form issues #922846

they are white, doesn’t matter what color you put in the CSS it won’t change from white
since the last update Enfold has more and more issues.
    Hides pages
You cant use Social media icons
    avia won’t save templates
The list goes on and on.
Think they need to find some new developers

in reply to: Contact 7 form issues #918502

7 people spending 4 hours trying to fix this issue.

Yes we changed the CSS we even removed all CSS changes and took contact 7 back to original install and still 3 different colors in the input area’s, unable to read text in message area. Yes we can change colors in inspect but when make changes to CSS they don’t work.
Thanks for all your help but this has cost me over $400 and everyone says the same thing…. the theme has issues get a new theme.

Thanks for your suggestions but they don’t work.
I have put a screenshot below and also a link to the page.
    The text is almost invisible.
I added the CSS as you suggested and it didn’t change anything.
Getting to the end on my frustration with Contact 7 and enfold as this has been an issue from the first day I installed enfold and there has been around 8 or 9 different changes to CSS and still it is not right.
My question is, if I delete Contact 7 and remove all CSS will a clean copy of Contact 7 install on my site with no remains of the previous install.
I will lose around 100 contact 7 forms but the way it looks now is disgusting.
    Thoughts?

in reply to: Contact 7 form issues #918246

Well can you suggest a contact form that will work in Enfold.
I have never seen input fields react this way, so I am guessing this plugin is not compatible with Enfold theme.
I’m sorry I disagree that this is NORMAL.
In the WordPress forums the opinion from people is a fault with Enfold?
It seems every time I have any issue with Enfold it never gets fixed?

    Look at the link below.
When you put details in you’ll see how the backgrounds are different colors.

in reply to: Contact 7 form issues #916775

Can you advise what contact form is compatible with Enfold? Contact 7 doesn’t work properly with this theme.
All the input fields are different colors, the text in the message box is almost white, the same color as the background as the background so people basically can’t see what they are typing.
Can’t change any colors because there is about 5 different CSS codes that support has said to put in and changing the CSS doesn’t work anymore.
I just want a contact form that is wysiwyg and no CSS changes because thats what seems to have messed up contact 7.
A bit frustrated because it looks like crap on my site.
Link to my dropbox with a screen shot below

    Thanks Ismael
Unfortunately I can’t contact them as they closed down about 4 years ago.
I’ll just have to put up with it the way it is I guess.
    Thanks
    Darren.

    Hi Victoria
There should only be 1 background.
I do not know why or how that border is showing up.
I have replaced the original background image with a new image.
Shouldn’t the new image just replace the old image so its a clean background with no border?
Bellow is my login details if you need to see more information.
I am doing this on a test site, not my live site.

in reply to: layer/header appearing behind main content #913691

Yes I just renamed the new background image bg.jpg and replaced the original image as 3 developers could not work it out and that was there only solution?
The site was built by another developer who has since gone bust.
I think this is one of those things no-one can solve so I’ll have to put up with near enough I guess

    Ismael
I just replaced the image bg.jpg in file manager newsite/vipentertainment/themes/images
    set background to fixed

in reply to: layer/header appearing behind main content #911787

I put both links in the last message.
    Have put them below.

    Hi Jordan,
That white space above the slider was the sliders padding.
I just removed the padding and it was gone.
    That isn’t the issue.
There is a border around the main content when I add a new background.
As per the Dropbox screenshots. My current site, no border around main content. Change background and I get a border around the main content area.

in reply to: layer/header appearing behind main content #911023

    Hi V
I have put a couple more screen shots in the dropbox for you to see.
The first link below is to my current live site. As you can see there is no border around the main content or header area.
    It looks very clean
The second link is to my test site where I am trying to update my site.
As you’ll see there is a border around the main content area that stretches up to the top of the page.
I want the page to look like my current live site with the new background.
I have the background image of my new site saved at 1222px wide (if that helps)
If you look at the third link below you’ll see if you scroll down the page the background seems to restart many times.
I hope I am giving you enough information.
Your assistance is very much appreciated.

    J,
    No change?
    Still same transparent area.

in reply to: layer/header appearing behind main content #910584

    J
update I cached my page and did notice a small change, it just reduced the size of the transparent area at each end a very small amount.
I added a screen shot for you to see.

in reply to: layer/header appearing behind main content #910582

    Hey Jordan
Thank you for the reply :)
That code didn’t seem to do anything?
I’ve added a couple more screenshots explaining in a little more detail.
Its the transparent area behind the logo across to the banner that I’m trying to remove.
It seems its a layer behind the main content, when I use inspect on the page, I can remove all the content in the main area and I’m left with a transparent layer that I can’t remove.
With the other screen shot, I have added some more information, you’ll notice using the other background the transparent area seems to disappear but then there is that overflow behind the main content.
I hope I have explained this clearly.
    Really appreciate your help.

    Hi John
Sorry for the delay been busy
I still have the issue with contact form 7
I have attached a link to a dropbox image that will show you want I mean.
The input areas are all different colors.
Have been given about 3 or 4 different css codes but still not right.

in reply to: Website resized after update #910142

    Hi Guys,
Got it sorted, I just changed the name of the new image to the current background image and presto
    Thanks
Will have some more questions I’m sure lol

in reply to: Website resized after update #910140

    I did what Ismael suggested.
Found the html code but when I try to change the code to the new image uploaded to the folder, the background won’t change?
I can change it clicking inspect on the page and making changes but they are only for my viewing
    Help would be appreciated guys
    Thanks

in reply to: website transfer #908015

Thanks Mike, will give it a try.
On another note just a quick question, how do I contact Kriesi?
Envato are threatening to void my Enfold license because I have an issue with one of their authors so they are going to close my account and void my Enfold purchase.
I know this isn’t a support question but I cant find any contact information for Kriesi
    Regards,
    Darren

Thanks for the info on the main background

I am aware of the background image option in footer, but when I add an image it doesn’t fit to the size of the footer, its very small even though the image I am adding is actually a large image

in reply to: Website resized after update #905416

    Thanks Y
When I try to change the footer background with an image I can’t get the image to fit the width of the footer?
    I reset the password below
