September 11, 2019 at 9:36 am in reply to: Problems with ajax search (relevanssi) after update to enfold 4.6.1 #1136946
I did as you advised, downloaded another copy of enfold and overrid the current one, but nothing changed. The relevanssi config file actually was in place already. It was not missing, permission is 644.
GREAT, the update did the trick! Thank you very much!
Thank you, here is the life site: https://www.abol.ac.at/en/blog/
(wpml is used for the EN version) as you can see, there are some additional layout elements to style the blog page and the Blog Posts element is used to display the blog entries. I cloned this site to localhost and tried to use polylang instead of wpml. The import from wpml to polylang worked well, but the blog page is not displaying any layout elements anymore. The blog page was assigned via the wordpress customizer and not via the Enfold settings. If I try to assign the blog page via the Enfold settings the languages are not recognized properly. If there is no solution, Polylang is not compatible with Enfold, if additional style elements are used for the blog page.

Thank you Victoria, but this installation is on localhost…. I want to give Polylang a try before moving to the life site.

Thank you very much, Günter! The code works as expected!

Thank you, this moves the arrow to the left of the avatar’s first reply after adjusting the values as you suggested (it’s not positioned correctly for tablet or mobile view though), but there is still no arrow next to the avatar’s second reply. Shouldn’t the arrow be part of a border surrounding the replies or topics like here in your forum?
With other words: Kindly help me style replies and topics with a border around and a little arrow pointing to the avatar. The arrow without the surrounding border looks awkward.I would be very pleased about positioning this arrow correctly and also for styling a response or topic with a border round the text and the arrow pointing to the avatar. Thanks a lot!
Thanks a lot! Problem solved!
Thank you very much! This code did the trick!
Thank you! The first code isn’t working, the second code displays a scrollbar, but this bar isn’t scrolling, please try yourself: http://www,.abol.ac.at search term barcode or DNA
Thank you for your advice! Increasing the Minimum word length to index is no option, because DNA has to stay a search term.
I also tried adding the filter you suggested, but unfortunately this didn’t change anything. A scrollbar of the ajax search results would be great like e.g. here: http://www.mindtheproduct.comI would appreciate help with this issue too! Using Relevanssi and searching for a common term results in a too long Ajax search results list, it is impossible to scroll down to see the complete list or go to the view all results link. Try searching for barcode here: http://www.abol.ac.at/en/ to see the Ajax search result list.

Danke Dude! Dein Rat, ein anderes Bloglayout in der 2. Sprache zu verwenden, hat auch hier geholfen!
Raster Layout und “Use the advanced layout editor…” funktionieren, die anderen 3 Möglichkeiten nicht.February 26, 2015 at 12:22 pm in reply to: Post tags not working if Relevanssi is enabled – another try #402605Relevanssi is integrated already, otherwise it would not work! But I cannot activate Relevanssi!
Relevanssi IS working, BUT kills the English Blog page: IF Relevanssi IS enabled, the English Blog page displays NO posts. After disabling Relevanssi again the English Blog page displays the English posts correctly. Therefore I cannot activate Relevanssi.February 24, 2015 at 10:55 pm in reply to: Post tags not working if Relevanssi is enabled – another try #401754Enfold is uptodate -> Version 3.0.8
Sorry, but obviously I have not made myself clear enough:
Of course Relevanssi is not enabled right now. IF Relevanssi is enabled, then the English blog page http://www.abol.ac.at/en/blog displays
“Nothing Found Sorry, no *posts* matched your criteria”. Not the search is causing troubles, but the English blog page is NOT displaying any posts anymore. Disabling Relevanssi again brings back the posts on the English blog page.Hi Peter,
unfortunately I had to disable Relevanssi again, because there is still an issue: the English Blog page is not working: “Nothing found, no posts match your criteria” http://www.abol.ac.at/en/blog After disabling Relevanssi the English Blog page works as expected…
Help please! Thank you!
Hi Peter,
brilliant! This did the trick, also on the life site: http://www.abol.ac.at/ e.g. http://www.abol.ac.at/tag/biodiversitaet works in German and English AND Relevanssi is working too, try searching for Wirbeltiere!
Thanks a lot!

Could you kindly look into another issue? I have created a draft Archive page: the Portfolio entries are displayed correctly in German but in the English version instead of the translated portfolio items the German portfolio items are displayed.
