Hi Andy,
after I got the information from my host that they do not cache I checked my dashboard – and first I was shocked because now I had pink headers (you probably tried something out here). Then I was glad to see that I could change the color back again and that the changes were kept in the styling overview this time – but not on my pages themselves. I checked the editing area and found a “color” checkbox where “Standard” was set (I didn’t remember that – a new feature?). I set to “Define custom colors” and now I have the colors I set in the Enfold child settings back again.
Might have been that the Security plugin you deactivated (not only temporarily!!) had also blocked the general styling?
Well, after two weeks of research it seems that my site is fine again, thank you!
Best regards
Hi Basilis,
That would be great, thanks. I deactivated, and if you need to deactivate temporarily the other two plugins that are active now, please do (I did so too before I tried the hard refresh)..
But as I said, no plugin was active during the update of the theme.

Hi Andy,
no, nothing changed …

Hello Ismael,
Thank you, looks better! Still I can’t change the font colours …

Hello Yigit,
Thanks for your reply.
I don’t want to upload a screenshot of my homepage – it is as I described on January 9: in the “general settings” of the child theme you can see the font colours green and grey which I didn’t use and on my entry page (“Home”) the last word of my logo is cut (on the left, above, white font on black background: “Projektmanag” instead of “Projektmanagement”). So it seems that somehow the settings I made in the child theme, probably also quick css, don’t apply after the update of the theme.
Any idea why this happens? A certain wordpress file which might be affected or something like that?
Thanks a lot.
Hello Andy,
I don’t think so – I made changes in the Child theme via quick css, so for example one thing concerning the logo:
.logo { pointer-events: none !important; }
@media only screen and (max-width: 990px) and (min-width: 768px) {
.logo img {
max-width: 60%!important;
margin-top: 20px!important;
}}But now, after the update, part of my logo is hidden by the menu. (By the way, I opened a new thread “Problems after update” in the meantime.)

Hello Rikard,
Thanks a lot for your reply. Unfortunately the WordPress update to 4.7 didn’t help, nor did the update to PHP7.
Best regards
Dear Guenni007,
Thanks for your reply.
That is exactly what I did: I uploaded via ftp and of course did not switch to the parent theme, the child theme is still active.
I uploaded the settings file only after I saw that there were changes to my design after the update.
I see my logo but the size has changed, so that part of it is hidden by the menu.
What could be the solution?
Dear Yigit,
Thanks a lot. I updated today and now I have a few problems (I am using a child theme).
-I went to “Upload theme settings file” in the child theme to upload the file I had exported befor the update. It said that the upload of the file was completed but the sign is still blue (saying “Upload theme settings …). It should be green, isn’t it?
-As a consequence, I think, in the General settings there are type colours I didn’t use (grey and green, probably default colours), and my logo on my entry page is cut off. When I go to the logo on the dashboard it says “Upload” next to my logo – do I have to upload the logo after the theme update?Unfortunately I am in a hurry because my hoster will stop support for the PHP version I use now by the end of next week…
Can you advise?
Thanks a lot
Hello Ismael,
no, I checked this and the problem persists. The body font still sets back to Arial in the settings options. It seems to me that it does not work anymore since the latest quick css changes have been made. Could this be the solution?
Quick css looks as follows:
body {
font-size: 16px;
}.avia_transform .av_font_icon {
margin-bottom: 20px;
}.main_color .iconlist_content {
color: white;
}#footer .widgettitle, .main_color .sidebar_tab, .main_color .tabcontainer .tab, .avia-icon-list .iconlist_title {
text-transform: none;
color: white;
}.phone-info span, #top .social_bookmarks li a { color: white !important; }

Hi Josué,
Please see the “Test 1” page (the page above has not been changed by me, it seems to be a kind of default starting page, maybe with the Coda font I chose for the headings). In the past I changed font styles in the settings and I saw the changes on my pages. Now if I set to Helvetica for example, the change seems to be saved (I receive the ok for the saving), but the pages don’t change and if I go back to the settings options, there is Arial in the body text field (I don’t try to change the headings at the moment, they are still set to Coda).
Best regards
AnjaPerfect – thanks a lot!
Hello Yigit,
no, my settings were not accepted for this section, as for some other sections too – please see my correspondence above.

Unfortunately the settings I make in the general and advanced styling don’t apply for some of the layout elements. There seem to be default settings that overwrite mine.
The following problems still occur:Grey font I can’t change in:
-icon list content
-footer headings
-rider/tab titles
-small bar above menu (phone number and social media icons)Font in capital letters by default which I would like to change to regular:
-icon titles
-icon list titles
-footer headings
Is there a way to set this in Quick CSS?Thanks a lot
