Hi Elliot, I am using a plugin that created a taxonomy and I can add posts within that taxonomy like a blog post.
Thanks
Hi Ismael,
That’s correct – I am wanting to create links that open up a specific porfolio item as a popup with images and possibly text. Is this the correct documentation? I am trying to figure out how to do this as I do not see a way in the theme to do this. Video popup works well, however.
Thank you
Hi Andy,
I’m giving it another go. I pasted the code in Step 1 in functions.php. I’m now on step 2 but not sure where I’m supposed to put the links or what the link means eg. http://www.yoursite.com/your_portfolio_page?custom_ajax=12 (what determines the AJAX number?)
Thanks
Ok, thanks Elliot. Could you direct me to where I could find info on coding for specific instances with the Enfold theme?
Thank you
Hi Elliot, the scrolling works smoothly, and I am trying to add a background color change to the link that is selected. Could I target it with CSS somehow?
Thanks
Thanks Elliot, I might give it a try. I want to change the blog layout only for one page I am outputting it and not on the main blog page. Is the previous way you mentioned suitable for this or will it change all blog output layouts?
Thank you
Hi Elliot, thank you for the explanation. I am still unsure how this “scrollspy” script relates to each link, so I do not know how to work and implement it. Also not sure if this affects what we’re trying to do, but I am using another plugin for sticky side column, called “Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll”. Perhaps a step by step instruction would be helpful, though I’m sure this is something really simple that I’m not understanding.
I pasted the URL of the page I’m working on in the private content area.
Thanks!
Thanks Elliot, I am unsure how these lines work and what their function is. I’m also unsure how they relate with allowing us to style a selected Target ID. Could you please explain?
Thank you
Hey Elliot,
I was able to get the left side column stick to the top when the page scrolls down. Now I am following your instruction about the avia.js file. I pasted a link to the screenshot I took of what I see on line 81. I also want to mention that the ID tags are not menus, but coded HTML links that I added in avia builder. Will adjusting the main menu on line 81 have an affect on these links? On the other hand, having the main menu selected on a certain page is also beneficial and something I had noticed.
Thanks

Thanks Basilis!
Thanks so much Rikard! Working smoothly now :)
Hi Rikard,
I’ve pasted the url and login in the private area.
Thanks
Hi Elliot,
I have the theme updated now:
“No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.2.3)”
and tried the masonry lightbox with plugins deactivated, yet the lightbox is still not popping up.
Also lightbox linking says “Lightbox Linking Activated”.
Thanks
Thanks Elliot and Rikard. I updated the theme and it’s now running the newest version. Will this be something I have to do every time a new version comes out? I added the API key from themeforest to Enfold Theme Option update area.
Now that the theme is updated, I tested out the youtube video popup. It seems the problem still exists: youtube video does not pop up, but goes to the video on Youtube instead. I’ve also tried with plugins deactivated.
Thanks

I would like to move the breadcrumb down so that it is underneath the menu rather than at the very top of the window. As well, I would like to remove the Title and the background color.
Thanks!
Thanks, Yigit. I commented out the line that Elliot mentioned in the post, and the breadcrumb appears. However, I cannot find the CSS for the breadcrumb element to target and style it. It’s currently stuck at the top.
Thanks
Hi Basilis, I’m on Google Chrome and tested it on Firefox and Safari as well. I noticed they are all slow to animate.
Thanks
Hey Elliot, I’ve attached a link to my page in the private field. Let me know if you need a login.
Thanks for your help
Hey Yigit, thanks for the screenshot. They show up fine for me as well, but the problem is it doesn’t load til I scroll at least half way pass it. I’ve attached a screenshot in the private field of what it looks like before it shows up normally.
Thanks
Hi Elliot, will my theme options be completely erased if I uninstall and reinstall the new theme version? I exported the theme options, so hopefully that’s enough to save the way things are. Is there a way to update the theme version without having to uninstall the theme?
Thanks
Thanks Elliot, I have tried that, but the problem with is the layout doesn’t flow naturally on mobile since it’s positioned absolute, which is why I wondered whether the theme would allow a text block to overlay an image hotspot like with a color section. Unless there is a workaround to wrap the background content to flow with the text.
Here’s a screenshot of what the layout looks like on smaller widths with position absolute: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2v192cy&s=8#.VZkVhxOqqko
Thanks
Hey Elliot, I just changed your login to administrator, so you can give that a try.
Also, I’m not sure if this has any relevance, but I didn’t make any changes to the theme files. I just added CSS to the CSS box within the theme options. The theme was also downloaded about a week ago.
Thanks
Hi Elliot, I added a link to my page in the private content area as well as the link of the area I referred to in my first post.
Currently the text is below the map within the same color section, and I would like it to move up overlapping on top of the left side of the map. Thanks
Hey Rikard,
Sure thing.
Thanks
Hi Rikard,
Sure no problem.
Thanks
Hi Elliot, I deactivated all my plugins and the video link still leads to YouTube. I also have the latest theme version: Version: 3.2.1
Thanks
Thanks Elliot, the blog is shared with a few other people who also post, so I’m unsure how they inserted the image. I’ve attached login info.
Thanks Elliot, I see the overlay on the images, which were inserted through WordPress media, but it doesn’t show on the first hover. This is happening on Google Chrome and Safari. Not sure if it’s a browser thing, I haven’t tried it on Firefox and other browsers.
Great, thanks Elliot!
Hi Yigit,
Yes, I did.
Thanks
