UPDATE: I found it! Advanced > Link settings. No response needed :)
Hi, I’m using the Enfold Gym demo (import) which I LOVE – thank you. On the home page, in the demo, there is the button “give it a try now” and I can’t see where in the editor to find/change this button. Thanks so much in advance!- This reply was modified 3 years, 7 months ago by CorrinaGB.
Thanks. I haven’t had to wait before, and it’s now been several hours – is this normal?
With other blog posts on my site, published previously, I get this error message with the Facebook debugger program:
The ‘fb:app_id’ property should be explicitly provided, Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog.
Thanks again in advance,
CorrinaThanks Basilis. Yes, I did – so I’ll do them one by one, thanks.
Is there a way of doing this in the future where I could apply a global change, if I wanted to change the copy / promo link on all promo boxes?
Thanks Rikard. Could you please check the code and let me know if there’s an alternative as the current version brings my site down each time we attempt to add it. Thanks.
Thanks Rikard. How specifically do I add something to the end of my functions.php file?
Thanks. That didn’t work; the error message is “API method not found”.
I’ll paste the tag into the private content section of this message to you.
Warm wishes,
CorrinaThanks so much Rikard. I did the update and all looks fine. What were the changes in version 3.7.1?
Hi – thanks. I do need further clarification.
1) All settings in the Theme Options will stay as I’ve set them – correct?
2) But what about the Quick CSS box changes? – e.g. the ones I’ve listed, that your support team gave me. My tech understanding is such that “modification in files” doesn’t mean anything to me so please clarify. And if I would lose all these Quick CSS changes, how do I retain them through this – and future – updates?
Warm wishes,
CorrinaThanks so much for helping out with a solution, Josue.
Is this code I add in the Quick CSS box? Or do I need to pass this to my tech guy?
July 5, 2016 at 8:42 pm in reply to: Social share buttons – not showing correct URL on Twitter #657240I’d like more support in getting to resolution with this.
Within my Permalink settings within WordPress, it’s set to this:
http://corrinagordonbarnes.com/sample-post/
so the URLs throughout the site are showing like http://corrinagordonbarnes.com/the-drag/
It’s just when I use the Enfold social share buttons that it shares as http://corrinagordonbarnes.com/?p=3342
I look forward to hearing how this can be resolved.
Many thanks,
CorrinaJuly 4, 2016 at 11:44 pm in reply to: Social share buttons – not showing correct URL on Twitter #656788Hi Andy,
Thanks for responding. Yes, the link http://corrinagordonbarnes.com/?p=3342 does get redirected to http://corrinagordonbarnes.com/the-drag/ but that’s not how I want it to show up on Twitter.
With my previous site, when you clicked the Tweet button, you’d see the proper URL – e.g. http://corrinagordonbarnes.com/the-drag/
What setting do I need to change so the URL displayed is http://corrinagordonbarnes.com/the-drag/?
Thanks.
Thanks both. I’ll leave it here for now as the issue isn’t showing up; if it shows up again, it’s great to know I can give you this admin and you’ll support this way.
Hi Yigit,
It’s a strange one! While editing a blog post, I intended to do a CMD-F “find” to search for the colour code (#28aca5) but I somehow managed to insert the #28aca5 into the Blog page code instead.
It’s not showing up on the site because the blog title is now longer, but I wonder if with another blog post with a shorter title it’d show up again like I showed in the screenshot I attached privately.
For temporary login, what role do I need to give you? (author/editor/contributor/administrator) and what email address do I use? How do I set it up as temporary?
Thanks for your help and care.

Yet another thing I love about Enfold! – you guys clearly want to support us in having the best experience ever. Thank you.
Another private link sent, for clarification.

Thanks – I’ve included the link privately as the site is live but still in testing mode.
I’ve uploaded a screenshot of the issue to the page I’ve linked you to, and you can see the page source to identify the code glitch.
The issue no longer shows up visually on the site as I’ve now made the blog titles longer, but I’d like to clean up the code anyway.
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
Thanks. I don’t know how to access or use the functions.php file. It’s been great when you’ve given me code to put in the Quick CSS box – is there something you can give me for this? If not, I’ll need to pass this task to my tech guy I think.
I’d like to be able to customise the message that gets tweeted, so it’s a tease snippet about the blog + Twitter handle, not just the blog title + Twitter handle.
Thanks.
Ah thanks – I was actually able to figure this out in the Advanced Styling section – so no further support needed, thanks.
Brilliant! Thank you.
I’ve changed it to size 16. What is/was the default size?
