You made my day, Ismael, thank you very, very much! I searched now so long for this behaviour.
But your code snippet works perfectly! Thank you!!February 12, 2016 at 12:24 pm in reply to: Elegant Blog layout: how to change "read more" with meta infos at blog page? #582178Hi Rikard,
I referred to the demo page, because my site is still in maintenance mode. But I would like to change these two parts like they appear at your demo page: http://screencloud.net/v/3r0V, I just don’t know where I need to change this and in what kind of way.

February 11, 2016 at 7:41 pm in reply to: Elegant Blog layout: how to remove […] AND add a "read more" text #581843Sorry, Basilis, but I cannot find the error in your code – although Andy gave me a link for customizing this part, I don’t get it to work.
Could you please tell me what to change in your code snippet, Basilis, so that also the excerpt is displayed? Thank you!February 11, 2016 at 1:42 pm in reply to: To tweak the "elegant blog" layout: what file do I need to edit? #581606Hi,

February 9, 2016 at 9:59 pm in reply to: Bug? ELEGANT BLOG Layout -> category pages show no featured image #580603Anyone an idea please?
I urgently need featured images at my category pages – using the “elegant blog layout” AND the blog page created with AviaLayoutArchitect!
Thanks a lot, appreciate it”Anyone?
February 9, 2016 at 10:50 am in reply to: To tweak the "elegant blog" layout: what file do I need to edit? #580268Thank you, but the CSS are not the problem – I mean the order of these elements.
This cannot be done with CSS (moving minor meta data from the bottom of the post to its top, over the title for example):February 8, 2016 at 1:20 pm in reply to: Additional text code at the end of post content appears at the blog page, too #579570Wow, great, that works perfectly, thank you Elliott!!

February 7, 2016 at 11:32 pm in reply to: Bug? ELEGANT BLOG Layout -> category pages show no featured image #579278I guess, I found out, why this is not working:
1.
My theme settings:
http://screencloud.net/v/kee8
I’m using the Advanced Layout Builder for the “blog” page2.
These are the settings at the “blog” page:
a) http://screencloud.net/v/rQV5
b) http://screencloud.net/v/y0caI’m not sure, but the problem seems to be:
if you set in the theme settings “using the ALB to build your blog …”
then the category and the tag page (archive?) does not show the featured image, although it is set and it is available (http://screencloud.net/v/E8Vp).Perhaps you can reproduce this at your ENFOLD installation?
February 7, 2016 at 11:05 pm in reply to: Bug? ELEGANT BLOG Layout -> category pages show no featured image #579273Hi Basilis,
thanks for getting back to me, I’ll try to clarify my question.
Important to know is first, that I use in the theme settings as “blog design” the “elegant blog” layout.
This seems to be used at your demo here:
http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-lifestyle-blog/1.
If you look at this page:
http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-lifestyle-blog/
At this blog (overview) page the feature images of the posts are shown.
See my orange arrows here: http://screencloud.net/v/A7uo2.
Then go please to a category page, like this for the category “news”:
http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-lifestyle-blog/category/news/
Screenshot: http://screencloud.net/v/u6UEAnd now I would like to have at a category or tag page the featured image between the title and the content –
same way as it is at the blog page, where all the posts’ excerpts are shown (see 1.).At your normal “business” blog layout the feature images are shown, too at category or tag pages:
http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/category/science/Sorry for my bad English, but I hope it is now more clear.
thanks a lot, Elliott, works perfectly!
February 6, 2016 at 11:50 pm in reply to: To tweak the "elegant blog" layout: what file do I need to edit? #579071Thank you, Elliott, that’s very kind of you, but I don’t think, that it will be only done with CSS.
Please take a look at the screenshot:
http://screencloud.net/v/8HzsRed arrow:
the meta info should be on the top, but only the category and the date;Orange arrow:
the author should be below the titleGreen arrow:
the title can be changed easily changed by CSSBut the problem would be the order of meta-info -> title -> author
I think, I need to make changes in a theme file for that order – in the single.php I haven’t found anything concerning the “elegant blog” layout.
What do you think?
February 5, 2016 at 11:04 am in reply to: What happens after support ends like mentioned at Themeforest item page? #578415Hi,
yes, thank you – the only thing is, that for most of us early ENFOLD users, the deadline for the “support” at Themeforest ends at March 1st.
But there are still 3 weeks :-)February 5, 2016 at 1:16 am in reply to: What happens after support ends like mentioned at Themeforest item page? #578135Thank you!
February 3, 2016 at 5:43 pm in reply to: Before and after image plugin that is compatible with Enfold #577201Paul, I use this http://codecanyon.net/item/smart-before-after-viewer/7672815 with the newest ENFOLD version and there are no problems with it.
November 23, 2015 at 7:48 pm in reply to: How to add a "quote" link next to the "reply" link in the comment section? #541134thank you, Yigit, but this codesnippet just adds a double reply link, but does not “quote” the comment to which someone would like to answer. Any idea?
(site not live)
November 23, 2015 at 7:25 pm in reply to: How to highlight author's comments in ENFOLD without plugin? #541128thank you, that works perfect!!!
November 22, 2015 at 7:56 pm in reply to: How to add a "quote" link next to the "reply" link in the comment section? #540416Thanks, but hat plugin has not been updated since over 2 years – not a good solution ;-)
Any suggestion on base of the link I posted above, how to modify what ENFOLD files?
Perhaps on base of the suggested code there, you can point in in the right direction (what files to modify) and perhaps I get it for my own?
Thanks.November 9, 2015 at 3:34 pm in reply to: ENFOLD update 3.4: instagram gallery widget is not displaying right in Firefox! #532645thanks, where should this code snippet go to? To custom.css?
November 9, 2015 at 2:54 pm in reply to: ENFOLD update 3.4: instagram gallery widget is not displaying right in Firefox! #532617Hi Andy,
no, just checked your demo page here http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-lifestyle-blog
and the instagram sidebar widget still does not show thumbnails, but only the huge single images (yes, I have cleared my cache):Firefox 42.0 with Windows 7 prof. x64
November 6, 2015 at 12:12 pm in reply to: ENFOLD update 3.4: instagram gallery widget is not displaying right in Firefox! #531410thanks for getting back to me, but is this error with the instagram widget solved in 3.4.1 – see my first posting here?
November 5, 2015 at 6:22 pm in reply to: ENFOLD update 3.4: instagram gallery widget is not displaying right in Firefox! #531062I haven’t dared updating my own theme, just checked your demo page here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-lifestyle-blog
Does your demo also run with 3.4.1?
If YES, then it still does not work.August 25, 2015 at 10:11 am in reply to: custom.css are not completely rendered at mobile view #492733We have already done this!
August 24, 2015 at 6:59 pm in reply to: custom.css are not completely rendered at mobile view #492442it’s not the only CSS, that is affected by this – and I have a LOT of custom CSS.
So again my question:
is it a problem, when I use within my custom.css the “@media only …..” styles not (!) at the very end of this file?
What could be the problem – see first posting?August 22, 2015 at 1:58 pm in reply to: custom.css are not completely rendered at mobile view #491719Hi,
thanks, but this is strange, where do you see this?
There is nothing concerning this in my custom.css, when you’ll take a look at it:http://viainastudio.de/wp-content/themes/viainaatelier/css/custom.css?ver=2
Line 2542So I don’t know where I should remove that?!?
By the way: is it a problem, when I use within my custom.css the “@media only …..” styles not at the very end of this file?
