Using FTP is important- as FTP client support pause/resume/etc. We need a way to upload media via FTP and get Enfold to recognize it somehow.
Cache and minify? No idea what that is. You have the login if you want to take a look. I am not missing any pages the site is tiny only 6 pages in total. Thx.
No. As I mentioned I removed the form entirely and posted the headers. Why am I getting mails sent by contact form still? Thx
Done. Too soon to see if any change will result. I was actually able to update from within the WP interface inside the Enfold theme. So much easier than the ftp method I have needed to use in the past. Thanks.
Thank you everyone. We upgraded to 5.6 and the sites are both operational again! I really appreciate the prompt and helpful feedback here!

I am in contact with them to see how to check version and upgrade it. My control panel does not actually have info on PHP. I also found error log with many errors such as:“PHP Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/clifford/public/cliffordnovey.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/shortcode-parser.class.php on line 2556
[Sat Jan 20 08:52:41 2018] [error]”I had help and they discovered the SQL export from orig host had an issue. There was an issue with a line that sets the format- he edited it and was able to import the DB and now the site is migrated and fully functional. So- with only a SQL export and WP folder you can indeed migrate. Lesson learned though re WP import/export.
CSo I paid to get the old host turned back on and the SQL DB is there but I see no PHP options.
Also- it seems the WP install on old server was managed by Mojo Marketplace and so far I cannot get the old site login page etc.If all I can get is the full SQL db is there any hope?

CliffordTried getting the import function going to see what would happen. It does appear to see the content but ran into a problem.

2. Changing the Memory Limit via wp-config.php
If you don’t want to mess with the PHP.ini file, then you can go for this method. In this you won’t be needing to create any extra file in your Directory.
Just Adding define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’); in your ‘wp-config.php’ file would increase your PHP Memory Limit to 64 MB.
That worked thanks very much. I may have deleted another bit of code by accident but there is no version history on that page. Ideas?
