February 13, 2015 at 11:45 pm in reply to: Menu and Formatting Messed Up After Updating Enfold #396053
Hi,
Wow, I did not realize all the customization that works great in Enfold 2.1 would not work with Enfold 3.0.8. I am surprised Enfold is not backward compatible.
Can you please look at my http://dev.skloff.com/ Enfold Child: Stylesheet (style.css) and the 2 quick css codes; and let me know what to change/delete so http://dev.skloff.com/ with Enfold 3.0.8 ultimately looks like http://www.skloff.com/ with Enfold 2.1?
Thank you!Hi,
In case you were having trouble with some links, I refreshed all the permalinks at http://dev.skloff.com/
Can you please see the the formatting issues (and right column categories links no longer working) and help me fix them? Thank you.Hi,
I created a testing environment with the latest version of Enfold and WordPress and the formatting looks terrible on Desktop and iPad.
Testing Environment: http://dev.skloff.com/
Live Website (Enfold 2.1 and WordPress3.9.3): http://www.skloff.com/Can you please see the the issues and help me fix them? Thank you.
Hi Elliot and Yigit,
Brillant – that worked! Thank you!
One again, I tried updating to Enfold 3.0.8 but all the formatting of the header, menus, etc. became messed up. So I reverted back to Enfold 2.1.
Maybe you can take a look at http://www.skloff.com Enfold Child: Stylesheet (style.css) and Quick CSS; and suggest what can be removed/changed so the website will look the same with Enfold 3.0.8 as it does with Enfold 2.1?
Please feel free to copy the Enfold Child style.css and Qucik CSS and try it on your side with Enfold 3.0.8 to see what I mean.
Any suggestions to keep the site looking the same with Enfold 3.0.8 would be greatly appreciated!Thank you!
Hi,
When I updated to Enfold 3.0.8 and to WordPress 4.1, the customization setting I made in Enfold Child: Stylesheet (style.css)
were messed-up. I had to revert back to Enfold 2.1 and WordPress3.9.3.
Can you please simply suggest a tweak or two to fix this problem? Thanks!February 10, 2015 at 12:02 am in reply to: Menu Section Taking Up Half the Page, Pushing Down Everything Else #393413Hi,
I’m sure you guys are very busy, but you can please take a look at http://www.skloff.com ?
The menu bar does not wrap around to create a second row on the IPad, so menu items blend into the slider directly underneath it.
It should be a simple fix.
Thank you!February 9, 2015 at 4:35 pm in reply to: Menu Section Taking Up Half the Page, Pushing Down Everything Else #393124Hi,
“Information, “Blog” and “Contact” and the Magnifying Glass are no longer in the half light/half dark menu bar on the Apple IPad, Chrome Browser or Safari Browser.
The menu no longer wraps around and those items have fallen below into the slider.
In an example of another website (different theme) the menu wraps around to the next row for the menu items that wont’ fit the width of the Apple IPad Chrome Browser or Safari Browser.

It was working just fine with Enfold 2.1 and WordPress 3.9.3.
When I temporarily updated to Enfold 3.0.8 and WordPresss 4.1 all the formatting in my Enfold Child: Stylesheet (style.css) was messed up. [please see Moderator only login at top of thread]. So, I reverted back to Enfold 2.1 and WordPress 3.9.3.“Information, “Blog” and “Contact” and the Magnifying Glass are no longer in the half light/half dark menu bar on the Apple IPad, Chrome Browser or Safari Browser.
The menu no longer wraps around and those items have fallen below into the slider.
