    Hi Josue,

    wouldn´t there be the possibility of a “two-time-touch-event” or like http://peacheyphotography.co.uk to fade in the hover and simultaneously go to the link.

    Best regards, Christian

    Hello Ismael,

    ok, but the problem is, that the headlines appear on the images and not on the overlay. So when you open the site you see the masonry-images with the headlines on it. But the headlines should appear with the hover (on the overlay).

    Hi!

    Curiously problem 1.) doesn´t exist anymore… Your css also solved the problem of 2.)

    Thank you,
    Christian

    Hi Josue,

    it works great on the desktop now. Lot of thanks!

    On mobile devices and tablets the headlines appear on the images and not above the color overlay. Any solutions herefore?

    Christian

    Hello Ismael, hello Josue, hello Yigit,

    the problems of the posts #320176 and #321825 still exist. The solutions don´t perform well and your answers are very fragmented…

    The topic included following issues:

    1. How to realize a multi-column (!) masonry-portfolio as on your website http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/masonry-gallery or as here: http://peacheyphotography.co.uk
    2. How to set the images sizes and other adjustments to get a highquality masonry-portfolio?
    3. How to realize a perfect fitting colour-overlay?
    4. How to get a clean font solution (font in front of the overlay)?

    Cheers,
    Christian

    in reply to: Masonry-Portfolio Color Overlay #323550

    … problem of the “columns-solution” is the responsive behaviour. The portfolio gets little when decreasing the viewport size… not fine. Your Website presents a nice masonry portfolio here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/masonry-gallery/

    Cannot you tell the adjustments to get it work like this and how to combine it with a colour overlay with centered text?

    Cheers,
    Christian

    Hello Ismael, hello Josue,

    thanks for the tip, it works for more columns. The problems of post #321825 still exist.

    So please tell me, if there is any solution or not…

    You still need the administrator account?

    Cheers!

    Hi Ismael,

    thank you for the reply:
    -> we used the “Perfect Manual Masonry”, and the entries were tagged with “portrait” and “landscape”. That doesn´t work at all !!!
    -> The size of the images in can see in the demo are 705 x 470 / 449 x 705 ???
    -> The only things that works tolerably is the “Flexible Masonry”, but only with two columns. No idea how to set the options and image sizes to get a result like http://peacheyphotography.co.uk
    -> However viewports with more than 1.140px width display the images wrong sized…

    It would nice to have a documentation “how to use the masonry portfolio”!

    Now the topic gets rather confused and achieves no results… so please let´s look back to the beginning of the topic:

    We would like to display the portfolio like on this site: http://peacheyphotography.co.uk

    -> How to set the images sizes is incomprehensible! please help us out, i think we are not the only participants with problems to use the masonry…
    -> The overlay doesn´t really fit, are the no better options to do a colour-overlay?
    -> The titel-/font-problem still exits…

    Any solutions or not possibility to do like that?

    Thanks, Christian

    in reply to: Masonry-Portfolio Color Overlay #321564

    Hi Josue,

    it doesn´t work…neither i´m able to get the elements in the right sizes (now they are scaled up), nor the overlay fits exactly, nor the font is the front element and 100% visible…

    Is there any chance to do it like the example above or your site http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/masonry-gallery , but with a color-overlay with text?

    Do you have another tutorial than this: http://vimeo.com/77433498, that declares how to get the masonry look like your site (which options, pictures sizes, etc.)?

    Thanks, Christian

    Hi Josue,

    thanks for your help! Anyhow i don´t get the masonry-portfolio work as i would like to (http://peacheyphotography.co.uk):

    1. When using “Adjust to content width” the masonry builds two equal columns and doesn´t show the portfolio as in the link above.
    2. For the smaller or portrait pics the overlay is much too big (width and height), for the big pictures the width doesn´t fit exactly.
    3. The font appears behind the overlay, but should be in front of it.

    Do you have any idea how to reach a similar result as on http://peacheyphotography.co.uk ?

    Best regards,
    Christian

    Hey devon,

    your answers (#1, #2) are not very helpful: if i would be an specialist in coding, i would not have bought enfold and would not need your help – yigit or josue are much more cooperative and help out with really useful solutions for non-specialists!!!

    Another issue:
    inserting a icon in a copytext doesn´t show the entello-icon but another similar icon. See Footer last sentence in the left column. The “heart” is not the entello icon and doesn´t really look fine… I used this html:

    <h4><span style=”text-align: left; font-size:0.5em; line-height: 2.5em; font-weight: bold; letter-spacing: 1px; “>TEXT<span style=” line-height: 25px; font-size: 1.1em;”> ♥ </span>TEXT<span></h4>

    Best regards,
    Christian

    Hi Yigit,

    both codes do not work… the header still scrolls down and on desktop-view the submenu doesn´t work anymore (fades out when mouse over).

    Any other solutions?

    Thx, Christian

    Hey Josue!

    Works great! Finished the menu design now… happy :-)

    Now the next question pops up: (or should i start a new topic with that?)

    We would like to change some icons, for example the “previous-/next-slider-arrows” or the “go top”-buttom or or or… is that possible?

    Josue, thanks a lot for superb service!

    Cheers,
    Christian

    hey rusty,

    i´d please you to start a extra topic – otherwise i think i´ll never get my questions answered… i think if you answer to this post the topic get´s again to the end of the queue…

    use this css instead of {color…}:

    {
    background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.7);
    }

    thx, christian

    Hey Dude,

    maybe you can give us a hint referring post #304453?

    Thx, Christian

    in reply to: Header – Text Colors #304498

    Hey Rustybucket,

    i added this code in quick-css to enable the underline… you can change color also…

    /* ———- HEADER: Button-Underline ———- */
    .avia-menu-fx, .current-menu-item>a>.avia-menu-fx, li:hover .current_page_item>a>.avia-menu-fx {
    display: none;
    }

    Cheers,
    Christian

    in reply to: Header – Text Colors #304453

    Hi Josue,

    thx. Works fine, but i´ve still some questions:

    1. The hover-color of the mainmenu is equal with the idle-color of the submenu. How can we change the idle-color of the submenu? (Transparent and Fixed Header)

    2. With the css-changes we lost the active status of mainmenu-buttons. How can we add some color for the active status? (Transparent and Fixed Header)

    Thx,
    Christian

    The Problem with the downmoving header still exists…

    Hi Devin,
    thx for reply and concerning to your answers:

    Reffering to Link 1 – he link is in the private data above!
    A 1.) Sorry, no Screenshot. We have only Mac here, i have seen the problem on a Samsung Galaxy Tablet: when scrolling down the content the complete “fixed header” moves from top of the viewport to bottom of the viewport.
    A 2.) ok

    Reffering to Link 2 – the link is in the private data above!
    B 1.) I solved the problem already.
    B 2.+3.) Home > Slide #1: Can i edit both parts (headline + subline) of the left framed text? text-size, text-color, background-color, transparency, etc.

    Thx a lot,
    Christian
