**update** I think a hidden layer might have been causing the issue. I deleted this hidden layer and I was able to publish the slider. I assumed the hidden layer would not have an affect on the slide.
May 24, 2019 at 4:18 pm in reply to: General Styling: Background images not working because of wrong path #1103943Thanks so much GWS! That worked for me too.
Thanks for getting back to me Ismael. I believe that worked fine for the conversion page. Thanks! How exactly should I add the sitewide script? Do I copy the parent theme footer.php via FTP to my child theme folder and them add only my google script to the child footer.php file or do I need to duplicate the entire contents from the parent theme? Thanks.
I really need to get this accomplished, please help. I’ve added my development site info below if you are able to make the changes there and test this out?
The sitewide script goes after the page title before closing the head tag.
The conversation script goes between the body tags on the thank you page is page-id-9475.
Thanks for the help!!
It looks like the sitewide tag can go anywhere between the head tags. The conversion page tag can be placed directly after the sitewide script, but only on my thank you page.
Google doc about these tags: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6331314?hl=en
Thanks for the help!
Thanks for the reply. I left the code below that needs to go on the site. How can I accomplish this? Thanks!
You can close this. I figured it out.
Thanks though. I’m really liking your theme!
I’m also having an issue with iOS devices displaying the video slider (I have a homepage mobile version for 768px and smaller). My Android phone displays the video just fine, but iOS devices running safari will not play the HTML5 video. Ideas?
Can you post the custom code needed for this? I’d like to do the same thing. Thanks!
That was it! Thank you so much!! I had missed closing a custom piece of CSS. Now I know to be more careful.
Thanks again!
Thanks Ismael. I always purge the cache if I’m having trouble seeing changes, but this is still not working. I tried disabling file compression previously and it had no affect. I’m not sure what to do. Any other changes in wordpress work fine, but the advanced styling changes no longer work, at all. I think this happened when I updated the theme and wordpress last week. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Anyone? This is a real bugger. I cannot make any changes to the styling. Could it have anything to do with installing Really Simple SSL plugin? I had activated it but never started the process, as I don’t have the SSL and I’m not live yet.
Thanks Ismael. Did you change your hosts file to point to the server address? You won’t be able to get to the server without changing your hosts file to the IP address.
