October 30, 2017 at 9:54 pm in reply to: How do I add a custom class to the A element while using [av_button]? #870653
Hi Yigit,
Problem solved! The jQuery solution you proposed is exactly what I needed.
Thanks!
October 27, 2017 at 5:18 pm in reply to: How do I add a custom class to the A element while using [av_button]? #869676I’m not actually doing that myself, a company is handling the implementation for us, and here’s what they wrote, after using your [av_button] custom_class feature:
The problem is, we want to use Google Tag Manager to track clicks on the buttons, and the classes are applied to the DIV element, not on the A tag. And GTM don’t recognize the selector when the class isn’t on the button(link) itself.

October 19, 2017 at 7:10 pm in reply to: How do I add a custom class to the A element while using [av_button]? #866412Can show me how? I’ll need to replicate this across multiple pages. Here’s a code sample, from the page body:
[av_button custom_class='my_custom_class' label='Sign Up' link='manually,http://ACTUAL_URL_HERE' link_target='' size='small' position='center' icon_select='no' icon='ue800' font='entypo-fontello' color='theme-color' custom_bg='#444444' custom_font='#ffffff']
Where would you add the JavaScript code? What would it look like?
Thanks in advance!

August 9, 2017 at 7:12 pm in reply to: With av_heading element, size is ignored, but subheading_size works perfectly #836560Simply log in and search for “Test page 1”. That page is shows the problem – all it has is this:
[av_textblock size='' font_color='' color='' av-medium-font-size='' av-small-font-size='' av-mini-font-size='' custom_class='' admin_preview_bg=''] [av_heading tag='h4' padding='14' heading='Title' color='custom-color-heading' style='blockquote modern-quote modern-centered' custom_font='#000000' size='34' subheading_active='subheading_below' subheading_size='26' custom_class=''] Subtitle [/av_heading] [/av_textblock]

June 5, 2017 at 10:36 pm in reply to: One page loads without its content (header's there, not much else) #804199Yes, if you just click on this link, you’ll get a 404. It’s a page that’s only visible to admins. Please see the credentials in the Private Content section. Once logged in, this URL will no longer return a 404 – you’ll see the page. (In the previous reply I included a YouTube video proving that I reproduced the bug.)
http://champlainconted.com/kriesiat/You’ll need to use the EDIT url directly to edit it, so I’ve included that too (the bug prevents access to the toolbar).

May 30, 2017 at 8:38 pm in reply to: One page loads without its content (header's there, not much else) #801656Hi guys,
I reproduced the issue in Chrome Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit) and Firefox 53.0.3 (32-bit), specifically in the test page you requested: http://champlainconted.com/kriesiat/. See the video I included for the Chrome reproduction proof. I also tried once more disabling the plugins and switching back to the core Enfold theme rather than a child, no difference. So I’ve restored the child theme and all plugins.
Thanks,
Matt
February 15, 2017 at 7:25 pm in reply to: One page loads without its content (header's there, not much else) #747621Please see the first post in this thread (blockquoted below), where I did those tests preemptively, knowing I’d be asked to do that. At the time, everything was fully up to date, WordPress, Enfold, plugins, etc. I even disabled plugins, stopped using a child theme, etc, etc. So unless something suddenly changed in WordPress 4.7.1 or 4.7.2 that fixed this, or Enfold changed in some way to fix this, I’m not sure why re-testing would heed different results. Plugins were eliminated and so was the child theme, so those were innocent as per my tests. Though, it is odd that you can’t seem to reproduce it. Anyway. I’ll see if I can revisit this in the future – workload is too high right now and I am able to circumvent this issue by avoiding massive page titles.
In any case, thanks for looking into this.
We’re running WordPress 4.7 and the latest versions of all our plugins.
Here’s what I already tried:
- Deactivating all plugins
- Updating to the latest version of Enfold
- Switching from using an Enfold Child Theme to using a pure Enfold parent theme
- Deleting W3 Total Cache and all traces of it
- Looking for errors via WP_DEBUG_LOG – nothing seen
- Looking for errors via Firebug/Chrome Developer tools – nothing visible
The problem is still reproducible despite this.

December 20, 2016 at 7:38 pm in reply to: One page loads without its content (header's there, not much else) #726735Ok! So. I’m still not sure what is happening, but it’s definitely based on the character count in the title. I tried this string for example, as a test:
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
It instantly fails. If I reduce the A madness to just this:
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
It works.
Can you guys reproduce this behavior on your end?

February 24, 2016 at 9:30 pm in reply to: To get support via forums, do we need an active support plan on ThemeForest? #588650Ok, we’ll just wait for you guys to offer your own support license feature, and will buy into that. If there’s some sort of an advantage for us to buy ThemeForest’s in anticipation of that, do let us know, though. (Aka if you will offer a rebate for those that already have ThemeForest licenses.)
April 21, 2015 at 9:57 pm in reply to: Images don't resize well in IE9, likely related to responsive design #432409Hi,
Looks good on mobile. My clients are concerned, however, that when people resize their browser windows in IE9 (and older, I imagine), the image obstructing the actual text (by appearing under it), will make our site look like it was poorly designed. I kinda get where they’re coming from, and will try to explain that it’s a subset of users, those poor souls still using older IE versions. But their concern is still valid… if we could fix that effect, it’d be ideal. Now, I’m reasonable – if IE6 didn’t work, for example, it’s so old that I’d actually recommend putting a message telling the user to upgrade their browser, or move on at their own risk. That’s fair due to the age of IE6, but IE9? It’s not that old. Can something be done to fix this?
If fixing isn’t a possibility due to a documentated lack of support for responsive design in IE9 (ie. it’s not the theme’s fault, it’s the browser that lacks flexibility), do let me know. It’d be easier to justify that the problem remain unfixed on their website.
Thanks in advance guys, I realize it’s an annoying kind of issue. I’d love to force people to use the latest version of everything, but, alas, not how things go.

April 16, 2015 at 9:12 pm in reply to: Images don't resize well in IE9, likely related to responsive design #429904Unfortunately, neither of those snippets fix the problem. I tried in my child theme’s style.css, and also in the quick css tab as you suggested, and, each time, I wiped the cache prior to refreshing. Still no luck.
To be clear: the behavior I expect to see is the images resizing along with the window, so they’re always next to the text, not under it like in the screenshot.
April 13, 2015 at 9:06 pm in reply to: Images don't resize well in IE9, likely related to responsive design #427794Enfold 3.1.3 and WordPress 4.1.1 confirmed. Can you try accessing it again? Should work now.

Thanks,

March 25, 2015 at 1:49 am in reply to: Gravity Forms experiences problems when Enfold Child Theme is activated. #417508Yeah, just trying to alter the height of the logo when you resize, as per this discussion. However, to get around the issue temporarily, I deleted all traces of this modified JS from my child theme.
Then, I noticed another effect: even thought the JS file was deleted, and only style.css and functions.php (code for functions can be seen above) remained, I saw a new problem. This shortcode:
[gravityform id="4" title="true" description="false" ajax="false"]
Didn’t actually make the form appear on the page. The page is blank, white, empty. Pure Enfold worked, but not my child theme… despite the lack of the JS. Turns out I had to comment out this particular line in functions.php, even though my modified avia.js no longer remained.
add_action( 'wp_print_scripts', 'wp_change_aviajs', 100 );
Made sense, of course, I should have done that when I deleted the file originally. Just figured I’d share my solution here in case anyone else encounters the same behavior.March 19, 2015 at 6:00 pm in reply to: Gravity Forms experiences problems when Enfold Child Theme is activated. #414694Yes, that fixes it… my modification to “avia.js” in the child theme is actually fairly minor. I just changed “el_height/2” to “el_height/1.25” in two locations. Any idea what might be causing a JavaScript error if my child theme isn’t actually messing up the JavaScript?
Here’s my functions.php, but it seems innocent enough. Maybe that 100 needs to change to something else? Perhaps Gravity Forms’ JS should load after or before or something?
add_theme_support('avia_template_builder_custom_css'); add_action('avia_builder_mode', "builder_set_debug"); function builder_set_debug() { return "debug"; } function wp_change_aviajs() { wp_dequeue_script( 'avia-default' ); wp_enqueue_script( 'avia-default-child', get_stylesheet_directory_uri().'/js/avia.js', array('jquery'), 2, true ); } add_action( 'wp_print_scripts', 'wp_change_aviajs', 100 );

March 5, 2015 at 3:57 pm in reply to: How do I change the height the header shrinks to, when I scroll? #406460Sounds good. Can I stick it in my “enfold-child” theme using the same structure? So enfold-child/js/avia.js? I ask because I tried and for some reason it doesn’t seem to be working.
Thanks,
Matt

March 2, 2015 at 5:51 pm in reply to: Blockquote styling without font size increase and italics #404630Ok, so I added this to my functions.php, child theme:
add_action('avia_builder_mode', "builder_set_debug"); function builder_set_debug() { return "debug"; }
It says Avia, is that OK?
As for creating an element, do I do it like this? Create a custom shortcode? Or is there a simpler way?
Add new or replace Advanced Layout Builder elements from Child Theme
