August 31, 2016 at 11:01 am in reply to: Enfold WPML language switcher : hide unavailable languages ? #679900
Hi Josue,
I could do so but there is no option to disable the Enfold switcher.
I could of course hide them vis css but this is not my preferred option.
Would you have a filter in functions.php to hide the Enfold switcher in the menu and the top bar ?

July 12, 2016 at 8:20 am in reply to: How to replace Footer background color by background image ? #659695Hi again,
Don’t bother, I have reset the style by applying the Orange skin and my custom image now appears.

July 12, 2016 at 8:15 am in reply to: How to replace Footer background color by background image ? #659691Hi Yigit,
I have already done this, but I get a white footer and my custom image doesn’t show.
I provide you an admin user so that you can have a look.
BérangèreJuly 11, 2016 at 11:06 am in reply to: How to replace Footer background color by background image ? #659149Hi Vinay,
I know how to upload a background image in the footer, styling, I have already done it.
But it is not used because I had a background color before and I can’t get rid of it.
I would like to know how to remove the background color with the color picker so that the theme uses the background image.

Hello Vinay,
thanks for the quick reply.
In between I have tried to copy / paste the columns shortcode from a page created by the standard editor. It seems to work. In case of issues I will use your method.

I have installed today’s update and its solves the issue.
Thanks for your reactivity !
BérangèreApril 8, 2016 at 3:42 pm in reply to: Can't translate placeholder in Contact Form Datepicker #610295It works, thanks !
Hope you will make the strings available for the standard translation process, in a future release.
Cheers
BérangèreOK thanks a lot !
BérangèreHi Andy,
It works, but I’m not very happy with that solution because it changes the shortcode file, so in case you provide a new release my customer will not get it. I think I will advise my customer to use another component than Magazine.
I will open a feature request because it is the second issue I found with link posts on the theme.
Thanks for the support anyway,
BérangèreHi Josue,
I have done it but it does not work.
Read More still does not show on category pages http://www.berangere-test.fr/thematique/secourisme/.
I provide you an admin code if you want to check. Thanks
BérangèreHi,
Yes I have already tried with :
– all plugins deactivated
– parent theme instead of child theme. You are definitely allowed to do some changes on the site, it is not yet operational and I have backups. Just keep me informed about what you do.
Before reinstalling the theme, I have done some tests on another Enfold site that I am running, and it does not work either.
So I am wondering, are you sure that post links in Magazine block are well supported by the theme ? I have searched further in the forum and found those 2 tickets :
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/posts-in-magazine-content-element-not-working-with-link-post-format/
Cheers

Hi Andy,
I had already tried with cache / without cache.
I have tried again : deactivated caching, cleared browser cache, hard refreshed, no change. Same with another browser.

Hi Andy,
I have regenerated the password, it should work now.
Cheers,
BérangèreHi Andy,
I can do that of course, but it will not be manageable for my customer when she creates new posts.
If I understand well, there is no other structural solution than removing the Read More text in blocks which contain link posts.
It would be “cleaner” if Read More was not displayed for link posts. Other themes handle it this way. I will raise a feature request !
Thanks anyway,
Bérangère- This reply was modified 8 years, 9 months ago by caudebert.
Hi Andy,
I have created a test page for you with a “blog post” component.
http://www.berangere-test.fr/test-page-for-kriesi-supprt/The 1st post is a link post. The others are standard posts.
On the link post, if you click on the thumbnail or the title, you are directed to the external link, which is the expected behaviour. If you click on the Read More text, you are directed to the post itself, which is not relevant for a link post.
So my question is : for link posts, can I remove the read more text (and only for those posts) or is there a way to have the read more text target the external link ?
I send you and admin code in the private area.
Cheers
Bérangère
Hi Andy,
I’m using Read More on customer request, because the blog also contains standard posts. For link posts, I was expecting Read More to behave like thumbnail and title links, eg open the post’s link and not the post itself. (I hope I’m clear !)
For link posts, I have tried to hide Read More with css but couldn’t make it because there is no selector available to target link posts only.
I would be very happy if you have a solution for that !
Bérangère
Hi Rikard,
I have sent you an admin id and pwd in the private content.
Here are the links to the site :
Homepage : You will find the “link post” at the bottom, in a “blog posts” section : the post links to the external content, which is ok.
http://www.berangere-test.fr/Other page : The same post is displayed via a “magazine” component : it links to the post itself.
http://www.berangere-test.fr/risques-psychosociaux/FYI : I am using a child theme, I have tried switching to the parent theme and it it the same.
Thanks
BérangèreHi Vinnie,
This solution is unfortunately not applicable to archive pages which are the ones that concern me.
Those pages are built by the theme depending on the blog style selected in the theme options.
> If the selected blog layout is other than “grid”, the “read more” text is displayed at the bottom of the excerpt.
> If the selection layout is “grid”, it is not.So I was wondering whether you have a solution to display “read more” with grid layout, like this page

Hi Andy,
Thanks for that but it is still a display:none solution.
I have found a workaround : I will select “breadcrumbs only” as title option for blog posts, and add some css styling.
I am not happy not have to do this for each post, but I find this better. Please close,
BérangèreHello,
2 websites for the same photographer :
– fine art photography with woocommerce shop to sell prints
http://www.christopheaudebert.com– corporate photography

February 23, 2016 at 3:52 pm in reply to: Replace "Blog – Lastest News" by actual post title #587752Hi Rikard,
Sure it works, yet I would prefer to avoid this solution because I don’t know whether search engines will like that (duplicate h1 on all blog pages, one of which with display:none).
What I would like to achieve is a very standard blog layout : breadcrumbs and post title on top of page, without using ALB.
Thanks for your help,
Bérangère

Hi Josue, thanks ! I had missed this one. It works perfectly.
BérangèreFebruary 19, 2016 at 7:03 pm in reply to: Turn off side bar for Porfolio as a default choice #586249OK thanks !
BérangèreOK thanks, I was wondering whether it was possible with the Enfold widgets.
I will use the FB native code or another plugin. Please close.
Best regards
BérangèreHi Elliot,
I have re-created my page and it works now. I probably had made a typo in the shortcode :-(
Thanks for the support, please close the ticket !
BérangèreHello Elliot,
I have seen and tried that already, but there is no option to display the woocommerce featured products. The only choice is to choose a category. That’s why I tried the shortcode.

BérangèreHi Btina, on my site this code works perfectly.
BérangèreHi Rikart,
Lets’s take this page :
http://test.audebertphoto.com/prestation/portraits-corporate/
When hovering the title “Portraits corporate” you can see that there is a link from the title to the current page.
This is also visible on your demos.
I have never seen this with any other theme. For what I know it is not a recommended practise (UX / SEO).So I was wondering whether there is a specific reason / benefit to that, if not I would like to remove it.
Hope it’s clearer now,
thanks, Bérangère

September 17, 2015 at 9:15 pm in reply to: Display post meta information on single post using the Avia Builder #505139Hi Andy,
I have already read this, but this is for breadcrumbs only. I had just mentioned this as an example.
I am looking for a way to display post meta with the Layout Builder, if possible.
Thanks,
