    Hi, unfortunately I can’t leave the problem up live for you to see. I’ve narrowed down the problem to the part of the CSS that is created for the site from within the theme:
    Here is the problem CSS causing images in LayerSlider to become colored:

    #top .primary-background, .dropcap2, div .button, input[type=”submit”], #submit, .info_text_header, #info_text_header .infotext, .numeric_controls a:hover, .numeric_controls .active_item, .contentSlideControlls a.activeItem, #top th, #top .related_posts .contentSlideControlls a.activeItem, #top .arrow_controls a, #main .content #searchsubmit:hover, .callout a, #info_text_header.minimized:hover {
    background-color: #f0b70c;

    The “background-color: #XXXXX;” relating to the a:active is what seems to be the problem and is what is causing the images in the LayerSlider plugin to become overlaid with the designated color when linked. I’ve tried adding a few options to the “custom CSS” area inside the theme but haven’t found a solution yet..

    Thanks again for the help.

    in reply to: Layer Slider Shortcode issue #98128

    Hey thanks for the reply. Seems to be a .js issue, I did the standard replace all the files via ftp for the update of the angular theme. The element that the shortcode calls for will appear as an empty space with the correct dimensions however the slider with images does not appear. Using firebug I can see that the script for the slider plugin gets put way at the top of the html markup before even the doc type. The very first thing. Using Firebug I can remove it and place the code in the proper place above the actual element below the head tag and everything works as it should, but I’m not certain how to fix this in the wordpress/theme coding?

    *No other plugins were installed prior to me updating the theme that weren’t installed before when everything worked.

    *The built in shortcodes with the theme do appear as normal

    *The layerslider plugin does appear on pages/posts that don’t use the dynamic template feature

    I think something must have gotten a little funky when I updated the theme and the plugin around the same time. Any ideas? Again, thanks for the help.

    Hey Dude, got it working, the actual script files were missing from the js directory. Not sure about that. Godaddy hosting sucks, kept kciking me off the server during ftp transfer, probably caused the problem, seems to be golden now. Thanks for the quick response and the insight to getting the problem solved. Great theme BTW Kries is a mad genius-

    The js folder within the theme folder does contain the prettyPhoto folder with the css and images folder within that directory, but I dont see a .js file? Should it contain one? Also, again I created the wordpress install in a sub directory of the site with the intention of pointing the site to that folder once I had finished customizing the template. I’m not sure that should make a difference though being that the prettyPhoto js lives withing the theme folder?

    Again thanks for the quick help!

    Thanks for the reply, and thanks in advance for the help.

    Haven’t changed any of the code from the original theme downloaded from TF though, just mainly updating content.
