Thanks Victoria / All – it worked out.

Hello Victoria + All,
Thanks for your help. This code didn’t fix it. See below for the additional code that I already had in there as per y’all’s suggestion.
I tried removing the other code (on top) and it still didn’t work.
Any further guidance?
Yours,
L
#top .av_header_transparency #header_main { background: #FFFFFF; }
.home #header {
background-color: #fff;
}Hi Nikko,
Aha! Thank you for clarifying.

Thanks Basilis.
I have updated it with this code for white:
#top .av_header_transparency #header_main { background: #FFFFFF; }
However, it seems to a) flash green (old color) very briefly once I scroll down, and the menus are not visible until I scroll down.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
L
Hi Jordan,
Thank you. I’m not sure what color I want it – perhaps white, or black or gray. How do I change it?
The logo is no longer darkening. Thank you!

Thanks for the help! I re-uploaded a png, and it seems to be fine now.

Thanks Rikard. I just downloaded it and will give it a try.

August 2, 2017 at 2:51 am in reply to: Social Links from Team Member Profile / Search Console Error #833141Hello,
I’m experiencing this problem as well with my social media icons. For example, clicking on my LinkedIn button goes to:
http://www.brilliantl.com/www.linkedin.com/in/brilliantl
which yields
“Not Found
The requested URL /www.linkedin.com/in/brilliantl was not found on this server.”
I couldn’t discern from the thread how to solve this problem – any direction?
Thanks,
L
Perfect – worked great. You may close the thread.
Thanks!

Hi Victoria,
Currently, my header is green when the viewer first arrives on the page.
When they scroll down, it turns white.
When I use the custom CSS code provided in this thread to change the color of the header, it does not turn white when the viewer scrolls down.
I really like this function. Is there a way to change the header color and maintain the fact that it turns white when the viewer scrolls down the page?
I hope this is clear. Thanks for your help!

Hi Rikard,
Great – thank you. I will look for a plugin. I appreciate your support.

Another question along these lines – is it possible to have a video gallery with clickable thumbnails? Or is this something that will also require advanced coding etc. …
Thank you,
L
Aha – thank you.

Thank you!
I have figured out that there’s no need to paste in the code -that Drip has a plugin. I downloaded it and it seems to be working fine. Thank you.

July 10, 2017 at 3:26 am in reply to: where can I add a script to track visitor behaviors for email marketing? #818504Hello All,
I am adding drip to my website, and just found this post in the forums. Drip asks me to add the code to every page. Do I just need to add it once in the google analytics pane?
Their instructions: “Install the following snippet of Javascript on every page of your website right before the closing </body> tag. You should include this code even on pages where you aren’t displaying any Drip forms so that we can accurately track visitor stats for you.”
I have it as below – I have pasted the drip code (starting with <! …) beneath the google analytics code (UA-80491109-1) in the pane – is this right?
Thanks,
LW
UA-80491109-1
<!– Drip –>
<script type=”text/javascript”>
var _dcq = _dcq || [];
var _dcs = _dcs || {};
_dcs.account = ‘5944406’;(function() {
var dc = document.createElement(‘script’);
dc.type = ‘text/javascript’; dc.async = true;
dc.src = ‘//tag.getdrip.com/5944406.js’;
var s = document.getElementsByTagName(‘script’)[0];
s.parentNode.insertBefore(dc, s);
})();

Thanks for the info / reply – I appreciate it.
I don’t want to change the color of the icons – I want them to be their full color native icons (kind of like I see on my iphone screen for the apps). So – twitter would be the light blue, facebook the dark blue background etc.
Does that make sense?
Is there a way to have this “full personality” social media icons (or a colorful set that I don’t manually color) on the toolbar?
Thanks!
L
Thank you John!

Hello Again,
So, I went back, installed the plugin, and tried to modify the image sizes.
The bad news is, I still can’t figure out a way to do it. When I upload the image into a media element, it still only gives me the standard medium, large options (I have tried regenerating thumbnails, etc.).
The good news is, I have used buffers in the elements/columns to pare the images down (see also http://www.brilliantl.com/index.php/about/ for another example of this.).
Is this an OK way to adjust image size?
Or is there any easy way to do this that I’m missing?
Thanks,
L
Thank you Yigit! I will try this soon.
L
Hi Yigit,
Thank you!
I have successfully adjusted the image size to “Large”, but now I’m not sure how to get it into a size between “Medium” (which is too small – 200×300) and “Large” (which is too big – 687×1030).
Is there a way to customize the size?
L
Hello Yigit,
Thank you. I just checked the image in Media – it’s “Dimensions: 2848 × 4272”.
Here’s the URL: http://www.brilliantl.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/IMG_8292.jpg
Thoughts?
L
Hello Rikard,
Awesome – thank you!
I have made the change. Now, how do I adjust the image size (it’s still quite small).
Yours,
L
