pls run lighthouse-test for brandpirate.de. Why is lighthouse telling me, that there is a problem (even with no caching plugin active)? I mean, I can see, that there is an UL-Element.

Ismael. Thanks a.lot for your code! This one works perfectly as originally intended. I found out, that the Lighthouse-error was not because of the missing alt-attribute but of the missing arria-label-attribute so I adjust your code with it and voilá it worked. :-) Please think about updating Enfold with this information. because it could help other people with the same issue.Another question is, that Lighthouse tells me an error for this item:

Google is not complaining about the svg itself. It is complaining about the missing ALT-Attribute in die a-link of the logo.
Link does not have decernible name (missing alt-atribute) here:
—>> a.av-contains-svg <<—So it would be necessary to read the alt-attribute of the svg and put it inside the alt-attribute of the a-link if I am not wrong?
Please run Lighthouse test of my site and you see in the part “accessability” the problem.
I put this code in my functions.php and it produces an error that the site doesnt load anymore.

first of all I want to say thank you because of your incredible useful tips across all topics here in the Enfold forum that often helped me solving my problems.
To your post: A parallax effect uses different movement speeds across various levels of content. Here I use up to three levels: a background and one or two layers (background, text, image) – all with different movement speed. So yes I would call it parallax – connected to scroll. Sadly your example works only with mobile devices for me (and there its jittering a lot). On my mac (with up to date Chrome) It doesnt do anything, but it would be very great to get this to work. And the plugin of my choice is called “Scrollmagic for WordPress” (codecanyon). The plugin has a very easy to use graphic user interface – very intuitive and it also can draw svg on scroll – but there is also (I think a free?) non graphical version.

I already tried this with your documentation but I gave it another chance and set up a contact form 7 alternative to the site /test and it worked. So nothing with my provider or something else.
In detail:
– typos/spam: I copy/pasted, so there are no typos and cf7 put it into the spam. so yes this folder is under watch.
– is wordpress able to send mails: yes, i receive the pw-reset-mail and also cf7 can send mails
– deactivate plugins when the button do not respond: the button responds, because the form mailer answers, that a mail has been sent
– third party plugin testing: as you can see (test-site) cf7 works
– using smtp when the server is not allowed to send: the server can sent, so this was not necessary
– setting the from address to the default wordpress address: this never should be a showstopper, because the client want to receive the emails from form-mailer A from site A to E-Mail-adress A and from site B and formmailer B to E-mail-adress B.Regards

pls try it once again. ppl played with the SSL certificate. It should be now possible to open the links. I tried it with 2 different machines. It is important for me to find out whether its a only a problem at the client machine or if you could reproduce it also. In the meanwhile we password protected the site. Pls use the password in the PC.

Hi everyone,
jep, I solved the problem and here is my solution for you:
1. Deactivated all plugins (but I dont think that is has to do with it)
2. Update WordPress (I had this allready – only a reminder for you to do this)
3. Downloaded fresh enfold installation from themeforest and switched it manually with the running installation (I use a child theme, so it was easy)
4. I changed the H2 from the fullwidth-slider to h1 so I had to adjust my css.
@admin -> pls close the topicjep, I had to put it to maintenance mode, sry. please take the login-data from the private content box.

I figured out a workaround, but I honestly dont know if it would be adequate for you: create a youtube account and use the videolink instead. This works for me till kriesi has a solution.

I dont know if this is a workaround for you but, we decided to host the Videos for our clients on our Youtube-Channel. This solves the video-issue for Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Now I am waiting for an Update.

I use allready this code with vh and pixels for the breakpoints, but the image looks distorted als you mentioned.
