Thank you! I didn’t change any of those settings at all so I have no idea what happened. I chose “home page” this morning from Settings trying to fix it, but then decided to run to the experts instead. Thank you so much. ♥
Not sure what the heck I did but it’s resolved now. Thank you.
Victoria:
Following the email link you provided. There is no “screen options” option:
“If you do not see the Discussion option check the screen options on the top right of the page and select the Discussion box.”Secondly, when I add the ALB Comments element…. well, where is a location where people can enter a comment? I’m getting tons of spam comments, and they show up on the page, but when I, personally, go to the website, there’s no place for me to enter a comment as if I were a visitor.
I added a Testimonials page, here: http://www.skipspropshop.com/testimonials/. I added the Comments elements to this page. When viewed, there’s no way to add a comment. What am I missing?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can someone direct me to a tutorial on how to add comments to a page? Am I supposed to have a different page for comments, or can I add comments to the home page? This is a simple site, http://www.skipspropshop.com. Skip wants people to be able to post comments. I would appreciate any help in grasping this concept (yes, I know I should know how to do it but I’ve never put comments on any website so it’s a new monster to me).
February 22, 2019 at 8:17 pm in reply to: Former customer utilizing the theme without purchasing it #1070472Can someone please respond to me about how to utilize an API key to ensure no one uses my theme without my permission?
(1) When I log in to WordPress, the API key section states “Your Themeforest API Key”, not Kriesi API key – If I create an API key on Kriesi, does it work the same, or do I need to create an API key in Themeforest?
(2) Once an API key is created, how does it work for any theme that doesn’t have an API key entered through WordPress?
(3) Are there specific instructions on how to create the API key? Can someone please forward to me?Pretty please with sugar on top, can someone please respond to me?
February 21, 2019 at 4:27 pm in reply to: Former customer utilizing the theme without purchasing it #1069992I appreciate your response, the legalities are all with me. Where can I create a new token on Envato? Also, I purchased this theme through ThemeForest as I was directed to do the purchasing through that website. Am I still logging into Envato? And if so, can you guide me as to how to do this?
I need to ensure that when he has GoDaddy use another back up of the theme that theme doesn’t work unless he speaks to me. I understand the legalities. In the US, the laws are different. I have a contract with him that if I’m no longer employed with him, he cannot use the theme. He’s violating our written contract. Instead of dealing with the court system, I would prefer to ensure the theme doesn’t work. It’s a much easier solution.
The theme and child theme have never had an API key entered into this site, so if the theme gets restored via back up, if I add an API key to all of my other site, will this stop him from using the theme?

Actually, new issue. Go to this page: http://just4funpowersportslhc.com/portfolio-item/test/. I left the 1/4 columns at the bottom and the grid row at the top. When you resize the window, the boats shrink dramatically in the grid row, but don’t in the 1/4 columns. I kind of need the boats to resize the same as they do in the 1/4 columns. Any ideas?
Perfect, much better. Thank you.
Rikard:
I found another forum post and you’d provided the user with great code. We’re all good. You can close this.
a=”” nohref=”#” target=”_top” onmouseover=”document.sub_but.src=’http://just4funpowersportslhc.com/wp-content/uploads/suncatcher-V324SE-overhead2.jpg'” onmouseout=”document.sub_but.src=’http://just4funpowersportslhc.com/wp-content/uploads/suncatcher-V324SE-overhead1.jpg'”
img src=”http://just4funpowersportslhc.com/wp-content/uploads/suncatcher-V324SE-overhead1.jpg” style=”width:auto; height:auto; border:0px solid #cc3300;” alt=”Move your mouse over me” name=”sub_but”(I took the <> out so it would post without stripping) – this code worked perfectly.
Kids, after I posted, I found this:
Is this the best way to go?
July 11, 2018 at 4:52 pm in reply to: Theme Home page defaulting to WordPress "Coming Soon" page #984288Victoria:
Thank you. The other sites I’ve built were hosted elsewhere. I’ve never seen that option on Bluehost. Thanks again.July 11, 2018 at 6:03 am in reply to: Theme Home page defaulting to WordPress "Coming Soon" page #984036I don’t understand your response. All I know is I’ve never had this issue before. I’ve now added one page with content and when I test this page in a new browser (Firefox instead of Chrome), I’m still getting “A new WordPress site coming soon,” even though this page has a Color Section, Text Box and Masonry Gallery. The page, http://www.wired4soundhavasu.com/wired-on-water/ should show content. Instead, it shows “A new WordPress site coming soon.”
http://www.wired4soundhavasu.com/wp-content/uploads/Enfold-WFS-3.jpg
Something isn’t working right. This is a seriously stupidly simple site that these guys want. I can’t have them going to their website and finding “A new WordPress site is coming soon.”
Please advise ASAP.
March 26, 2018 at 9:59 pm in reply to: Image with Hotspots: Change color background on rollover popups #933214I’d like to universally change the custom background color to #002d44 and the custom pulse color to the same (#002d44) for 8 different portfolio pages. Help?
March 20, 2018 at 8:51 pm in reply to: Image with Hotspots: Change color background on rollover popups #930112One other question: I want to universally change all of the hotspot circles using CSS… I just need the proper class tag. Please advise.
March 20, 2018 at 8:39 pm in reply to: Image with Hotspots: Change color background on rollover popups #930107Worked perfect. Is there any way to use a hex color or do I need to convert the hex (#036c96) to rgb? DISREGARD. I just changed the hex to RGB and it’s perfect.

Problem solved. I deleted the entire page, saved every color box on the V-Series page, and then brought them back in.
I just went through both portfolio items side-by-side, comparing every single setting on the V and X pages. These two portfolio pages are set up exactly the same. The widget ares are NOT inside color sections with different themes. Please see PDF showing each portfolio item side-by-side.
Also, the spacing is totally different – much larger on the X Series page. Either the X page is stuck on Main Content somehow or I’m missing something. I have 10 more pages to duplicate so I need to resolve this issue.

March 19, 2018 at 6:48 pm in reply to: Separator/Whitespace Spacing – adjust vertical spacing #929227I was troubleshooting and renamed it “line” instead, because I didn’t hear back from anyone. But the code above worked perfectly. Thank you.
March 17, 2018 at 11:56 pm in reply to: Image with Hotspots: Change color background on rollover popups #928584It’s the exact code you gave me and then told me to change.
#top .aviaccordion-preview-title {
background:rgba(255,255,255,0.5);
}FYI, the color section vertical options sometimes don’t tighten up as much as needed. I’m not a developer, so to code the builder elements is beyond my expertise. It would be great if vertical adjustments could be made easier – as I said, even if you put your settings on No Padding, it’s still not enough, or you want no padding at the top, but padding at the bottom, and there’s no option in the menu for this.
Thanks.
NEW PROBLEM: The custom widget area box an the custom widget are now on two pages. On the V Series page, the heading text is black. On the X Series page, the heading text is blue – EVEN THOUGH BOTH ARE PULLING FROM THE SAME WIDGET.
There is no CSS set to change widget text colors on a specific page.
2ND NEW PROBLEM: Using the exact same CSS format to tighten up the vertical space between the widget that is not contained in the header or logo area, but is contained in the portfolio page area, the CSS works on the V Series page, but does not work on the X Series page.
#suncatcher-v-series .content {
padding-bottom:0px !important; }#suncatcher-x-series .content {
padding-bottom:0px !important; }So I’m now back to needing to tighten up the spacing AFTER the widget area. I’m creating 12 different boat pages; I’ll need something that controls all of them.
Thanks.
I figured this out. You seem to be focusing on making header adjustments, but the element in question is not in the header section. The answer appears to be naming the color box and then adding the following CSS code, although there are three elements contained within one color box, so I do not understand why this CSS code is only adjusting the first and only the first element’s spacing… Regardless, it’s working.
#suncatcher-v-series .content {
padding-bottom:0px !important; }March 15, 2018 at 9:40 pm in reply to: Image with Hotspots: Change color background on rollover popups #927740Still doesn’t work. Do you need login credentials?
This has nothing to do with the header. This widget area is in the body of a portfolio page. The code doesn’t work. Please advise.
?? This has nothing to do with the header or logo section. http://tciwest.com/j4f/wp-content/uploads/Untitled-5.jpg. I need to decrease the spacing after the widget area in the color section within a portfolio section. Thanks.
March 14, 2018 at 9:42 pm in reply to: Image with Hotspots: Change color background on rollover popups #926855Didn’t work. Is the spelling correct? aviaccordion
rgb is red green blue, but what is a?
Perfect.
Yep, I posted and then realized I didn’t put the page…http://tciwest.com/j4f/portfolio-item/suncatcher-v-series/
OK… I tried to type this out but it’s impossible to explain so I’ve got two examples that are along the same lines. First issue is the crazy mystery line. I’m very confused as to why this line only appears if the elements are contained in one color box. And why are we having to code it out manually? EXAMPLE 1.
#2 issue is the spacing. See EXAMPLE 2. The spacing is too big on Service and Contact, and is great on Team, but I don’t understand (1) why the spacing is different on Team then the other pages, and how to adjust the spacing on Service and Contact.
It’s confusing, I’m sorry.
Worked great, but now how do I decrease the large amount of white space above the contact form/address? This is set up exactly the same as “Our Team” – (1) Color section, (2) Special heading, then (3) Column layout, but the spacing is way not hte same.
When clicking on Team and Contact, the vertical spacing should be the same.
UPDATE: I added another color section for the two column layout and that tightened up the spacing quite a bit, but if this needs to be adjusted more, what would the code be? The color section anchor names are “contact” and “location.”
