So…. I want to use post categories to display active menu states. Posible??

No Victoria. I’m using blog to display events but also to for journal page. I want the events tab to be highlighted when viewing an event. Here is an “event”: https://susansdaniels.com/book-signing-at-revelations-cafe-and-bookstore/
Notice that “journal” is highlighted instead of “events”. Again, I understand why this is happening but I want to override the default behavior and highlight “events” when that post category is checked. I suspect I may have adjust permalinks along with whatever solution your team can provide.
I removed the words “thank you” from my last reply. I didn’t want to imply that this has been resolved. Still trying to figure this out.
Ok, I’ve provided you with access.

I’m trying to make that page sticky and shrinking while the rest of the site is just sticky. I haven’t figured it out yet.
Still can’t get only page ID 7552 to be sticky and scroll Ismael. (compro.mum.edu/brochure/ ) I added your code from reply #592570 above. Perhaps it’s because this page uses zen menu logic to apply a unique menu?
I’m trying to apply the solution provided in this thread to a specific page of my site. This page is already using a unique menu which uses the Zen Menu Logic plugin to provide (compro.mum.edu/brochure). I just want this page to also use the sticky header and possibly shrinking as well. I tried Ismael’s php with ny page id (7552) but it doesn’t want to stick so I removed the code.
Am I missing something?
October 30, 2018 at 5:21 pm in reply to: Enfold Theme Poor SEO it Failed Google Mobile Friendly Test #1028170If I may intrude, the issue is that google thinks there is a problem with Enfold sites. I get the same errors on most of my enfold sites and that means that savvy clients also get the same errors and think that we’ve built them an inferior website. You can test an enfold site yourself here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/
I don’t believe users are experiencing the problem that google reports. Enfold offers a great user experience, but can you please help us resolve or explain why google thinks Enfold sites aren’t mobile friendly? I can’t tell clients I design a great mobile experience if google doesn’t agree.
Perhaps of interest to also mention that when trying to plug in various accounts into the instragram widget, I get a few different versions of not working.
“only visible for admins – You need to specify an instagram username”
sometimes just says “You need to specify an instagram username”
and always includes “no images available at this moment”I am experiencing the exact problem as this poster, and like them, I had previously repaired this problem by updating the theme. Swapping in your test account does load your account but that doesn’t help load mine. Nothing was changed on the instagram side.
That was the first thing I tried before creating this ticket.

However, it’s just not a great mobile experience for this application. I’ve tried nesting some accordion shortcode inside the icon list and have it working pretty good but I was wondering if there was a better solution available.
November 6, 2017 at 5:42 pm in reply to: Conflict Between Enfold & Featured Event from Events Calendar #873215Setting a min-height doesn’t seem very flexible? I’m hoping for a solution that would be able to make good use of space for all future events and collapse if no featured event is available. Different events will have different featured image formats and description excerpt lengths.
November 6, 2017 at 5:29 pm in reply to: Conflict Between Enfold & Featured Event from Events Calendar #873202Thanks Victoria. Could you help me understand your answer “bigger than the space allocates”. I thought avia “spaces” were designed to accommodate the size of the content within it?

Thanks. I downloaded a new copy of enfold which updated my site from 3.5.3 to 3.6.1 and the problem is fixed. I had checked the theme options update tab and it indicated I was using the most recent version, even though I apparently was not. Is there a long delay or before the theme will indicate that an update is available or does it skip versions or what?
No trickery here… that text widget was there all along. It hadn’t occurred to me that the behavior would be different for those links. I’ll move them to a custom menu. Thanks.
Interesting… I tried to replicate your success with the bottom three links (remove and re-add) but had no luck….???
