Hi Rikard
FYI My servers guys identified the rule that was being triggered by the Avia Framework in Mod Security and I’ve disabled the respective rule (941130 if you’re interested!)I have worked out what the issue was and you may well want to keep a note for future clients’ cases?
My server was being attacked and the server hosts turned on ModSecurity which was the cause of the non-display of the framework.I had to turn off Mod Security in the Cpanel to edit the site and then turn it back on to protect the site.
Sorry!
Schoolboy Error…
I have turned off two factor authentication.
Can you try again.
Regards
BenThe strange this is that if I want to edit a News / Blog Post this is fine, the Avia Editor displays correctly.
But when I try and edit a ‘Page’ or more importantly a ‘Portfolio’ item it just spins?Mike – You are my actual HERO! Thank you so much, absolutely brilliant!!!!!!
I have taken a copy of this site and uploaded it onto my own server to see if it replicated this issue and yes it did.
I use All In One Backup which pretty much grabs everything and then installs it into the server space created.
When I tried editing a text box I had the same issue, the text box was incorrect.I have over twenty installations of Enfold on my server and I have never had this issue before – the server I took the site from was Reg123.co.uk and I can only guess that they are using a different ‘flavour’ of WordPress if such a thing exists??
I know that previously they have Divi Builder on here and WP Bakery & Redux Framework or something similar which might have screwed it all up?
Have you had any luck with this? any updates?
Many thanks
BenWill this resolve the issue – I see even after the Beta Upload the text box is still displaying incorrectly?
They have just replied with the following:
I have now created a php.ini file with the below values in the public_html folder:
memory_limit = 512M
max_execution_time = 120
upload_max_filesize = 512M
post_max_size = 520M
max_input_vars = 5000
suhosin.post.max_vars = 5000
suhosin.request.max_vars = 5000I have changed the FTP Password – The initial one had a £ in it which the server did not like!
As requested FTP details in Private Comments – Thank you
Yes please do whatever you want to test this – without the original text box I’m completely stumped so anything you can do would be gratefully received.
I replaced the file as suggested but it did not make any difference?
I copied the code and pasted it directly into:/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/textblock.php
and then saved and exited the file?Any other ideas – I really need to get this resolved?
Thank you
BenHi Vinay
This is a screenshot of the footer that is working correctly on the mobile – the three footer columns are stacking one on top of the other
https://www.cleanmonmouthshire.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/correct-Footer.jpgThis is a screenshot where the three columns are trying to sot side by side on a mobile, which is the issue I am having?
https://www.cleanmonmouthshire.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Incorrect-Footer.jpgI am wondering if it is something to do with the full-width slider as these seem to be the pages that are affected? If so how do I put this right as I have neven noticed this before and this is about my 25th Enfold site?
Regards
BenSo I have 25 licenses for Enfold and use it because I love the theme – It is wholely unacceptable to not even get an answer nearly 24 hours after posting a question. I have resolved this with help from elsewhere but wonder why there has been no response from the Enfold Support team which I have paid for in buying the theme?
It would be really useful to get a reply on this – I have over 16 sites running Enfold and they are dropping like flies – I need your feedback if possible, please
Is it possible to get an update on this?
Thank you
Ben
Yigit – As always you are amazing!
Thanks So Much!!
BenI have implemented the update manually, replacing the Enfold folder in the wp-content/themes directory but now have a 500ERROR and the site is unreachable. I cannot even log into wp admin.
I will include my FTP details but my server hosts are reporting that the file that is causing the trouble is: /wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php
Please Help!!!!! I am completely lost now!Sadly this still has not worked :-( Still reporting the old version
July 9, 2018 at 12:01 pm in reply to: WooCommerce Page – Page title cutting off the top of the letters #983042This is why Enfold is my go to theme – because it looks fantastic and the support is exceptional!
Thanks Yigit – Perfect.Hi Mike
I did as you suggested and deleted all of the plugins.
Once they were deactivated I obviously couldn’t see the woocommerce elements (as in the rooms that would be available to book) so I just enabled woocommerce. in just enabling this I have the issue that the pages stay blank so clearly, it’s a woocommerce issue but I need woocommerce to make the theme work correctly?
What do I do now?
Best Regards
BenHi Rikard
Please try again with the same details – this should now be working. Sorry… not sure what happened there?And that is why I love this theme and its support so much!
I think you have cracked it Rikard!!
Have disabled and deleted a fair amount of unwanted plugins that came with a previous theme (I then got brought on to make a new site) and used Enfold – So I guess all the SiteOrigin stuff came with the other theme so have disabled and deleted it.
I am hopeful that this has now resolved the issue – early test seem good.
Once again Rikard you guys are fantastic.
Thanks
BenHi Rikard
My apologies – after sending this support request I managed to find the:
1. De-Bug location and I think I sorted it but thank you for confirming that you actioned this also.
2. In relation to the Menu Error, I have to create a new menu and implement that – this then cured the error (if you were to go back in and change the menu from Parade House New Menu to the previous Main Menu) you will see what I mean – I have no idea what caused this.
3. Please try and change the text in any text box and then close the editor – see if the text has changed on any page you like! try a few times and you will see what I mean. I have changed whole paragraphs of text and then come out only to see that everything I have typed has been ignored and the old content is still there.Best Regards
BenHi Rikard
I have another three issues on the site as follows:
1. I have tried turning off the debud but cannot find the wp-config.php file to add the line of code, could do with this being disabled if possible please? i tried following the instructions but got nowhere.
2. The Menu has changed and I have no idea why? in the drop downs from the About section of the site they used to align beautifully vertically one on top of another, now for some reason, they are all lining up horizontally? All I want to the menu to go back to how it displayed vertically on drop downs.
3. I am still having to change text several times before it will hold the change and allow me to save the page – something is horribly wrong and not I am due to change body text all over the site when i try the SEO changes I am loathed to have to try and make the changes again and again and again before they save and publish.Thanks Again

I have removed the Masonry Gallery from the front page and replaced it with a standard Gallery which seems to have solved this main problem (not that that answers what the issue is) but it is a workaround until we can identify the issue.Hi Rikard
I updated the theme but alas no change – I still get the error.
I have posted the FTP details as requested – If you can resolve this it would be much appreciated.
I thought that it might be an issue with any pages that have a masonry gallery on them so I tried making a simple text change on the dining page: https://www.parade-house.co.uk/dining/ I just added an ‘s’ into a block of text and this worked fine and saved ok. I say it worked fine it actually didn’t really – I had to go into the text block, make the change and then save it. when I came out of the text box editor the text had not changed. I had to make this same change a further 3 times before the changes took place so I am guessing that there is a bigger underlying problem site wide here?Hope you can help get this resolved – As I have said previously the level of support with ‘Enfold’ is unparalleled which is why I have purchased it around 5 times myself.
Thanks
BenHi Rikard
I added that code as per the description you provided to the functions.php file located in html/wp-content/themes/enfold
I cannot see the extra section to allow me to do what you suggest? Can you log back in and see if you can identify the issue?
I am happy to give you FTP details if required.
Regards
BenHi Rikard
It is when I save the homepage that I have seen the error.
Best Regards
