    Thanks Ismeal

    Is there a simple way I can get the same effect just with text and not using the initial image?

    So having the navigation text (not image) saying “Faeger Store” and then on-hover say “Coming Soon”. I

    I have tried it on another menu item and I can get the text to append using the ::before or ::after element – but this does not replace the navigation text.

    Is there a version of the code below that is just for text and the img tag?

    #menu-item-798 a:hover .avia-menu-text img {
    	display: none;
    }

    Also, what’s the best way to stop the navigation jumping about (due to the different number of characters in the words)?

    Thanks as ever for any help.

    This is great thanks. I have updated the functions.php as instructed, but I’m not sure what you mean by ‘link to the page you would like to import’.
    If I wanted to import this page, https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-medical/ – what would I do?
    Many thanks

    I am not sure why you can’t replicate it. I can only think it is some local issue relating to my Mac.
    Thanks for looking into it, as I mentioned I have found a workaround by uploading an image via the standard media tool and pasting the URL into the Logo input box.
    Thanks for your time.
    Best wishes

    I’ve managed a short-term workaround, but it has not resolved the issue that uploading a logo from the Theme Options page does not give me the option to select the size and auto resizes images to 180px wide.

    Would still love to resolve this.

    Great. Just hoping someone can help me with my current challenge.

    The first option to try is going to your Enfold Theme Options page and towards the bottom, you will see ‘Select Your Editor’ – if you change this to ‘Use WP Classic Editor’, select this and save changes. This should remove the code block above the Avia Layout Builder on your posts page.

    See how you get on with that.

    One additional thing I have noticed that when uploading or selecting an image for the logo on the Theme Options page, after uploading it is not giving me the option to select the image size, it just has the ‘Copyright’ box to complete.

    This is what I am used to seeing:
    Usual upload option

    But this is what I am currently seeing when an image has been uploaded -it’s already cropped and not a full logo as I would expect:
    null

    This appears to have done the trick, thanks!!!

    Great support as always!

    in reply to: Long Logo impacting menu on smaller browswer windows #637238

    I have de-ticked the ‘Let logo and menu position adapt to browser window’, so you should see that when you reduce the size of the browser (by dragging the right hand corner of the window to 689px) before the mobile menu kicks in, the horizontal menu blends into the logo.

    How does it look your end. I have tried chaging the parameters in the CSS but it never triggers before it blends in.

    Thanks

    I will, thanks.

    SOLVED: I believe I have sorted it by applying the same div classes to the h1 tag on my archive.php page as per the standard site page for the special-heading.

    It appears to be working great now.

    Thanks for your assistance, always v appreciated. Not just the support you have given to me directly, but to all your other customers – the answers you have supplied them in the past have proved invaluable to me during my design & development process. Thanks.

    Thanks for your suggestion and through some of my tweaking I was very nearly there (I have taken it down as the client is reviewing this site today), the issue is that the ‘85% width’ you suggest is about right (83% works for the Coaching page) but this does not work for any of the other category pages, all have longer names than Coaching, the line created spans under the Category title.

    So this line / block length needs to be relative to the size of the word adjacent to it – ie. 100% (100% of the gap between the category name and the remainder of the div/text block).

    Not sure if this is possible, it’s working within the class=’special-heading-border’ and / or div class=’special-heading-inner-border’ which is used on the standard pages, but that might be driven by numerous styling elements.

    I have tried adding these 2 div classes to the archive.php page which does works, but I can’t get the line it creates to be on the same line as the H1 category title, it sits underneath.

    Any other suggestions would be very welcome.

    Thanks for any assistance.

    I would like to style the heading on the blog category page to match the heading on the standard site pages.

    The heading style I am using throughout the site has the thin line following the text that runs to the edge of the page.

    As I can’t use a drag and drop special heading on the category pages I have edited the archive.php file and address some additional styling.

    I can match the font size and color on the category page, but don’t know how to get the line also.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for your assistance.

    in reply to: hide mobile menu until scroll #596696

    Hi

    I have taken the logo off for now (on the mobile site) as there were two logos showing and just looked odd. I have also now made the header background transparent

    I am actually not sure I would need to make the nav scroll on moving as I am not sure it would add much more now.

    Thanks

    Hi Team Kreisi

    Did this feature request / query ever get resolved – or any custom code created?

    I too am trying to find a way to hide the logo & top nav bar on a smartphone (not tablet) until scrolling begins.

    Thanks

    I can see now you change the style to Modern Left in the Special Heading section.
