I try to explain better:
I want to build a portfolio, so it can be:
no ajax: I prefer don’t use one.
ajax: I choose this one: 4 column, ajax, like in the demo, so when I clic in a item (picture+subtitle), I get the item expanded with all the info (easy slider in 2/3 column + special headind, accordion, etc in 1/3 column + navigation (< > X).
for editing / buliding the content item expanded (3 columns), only I can paste code in the “Add preview Text” (code) in the “Ajax Portfolio Preview Settings” from the side right column: I can’t use the graphic tools. In the left side oh the editing area, where I can use the graphic tools of avia builder, If add or edit some elements, like color section, colums, images, slide, and save it, in this case, nothing happens: the code in the “Add preview Text” is prioritary.
I would like to use the graphic tools for editing content in the left edit area (avia builder), I don’t want using code: for this, only I see the alternative of using the “Portfolio Grig” > “Link” > “Open the entry in a new page” so without using the ajax.
Summary: How can I use the ajax portfolio, editing de items expanded content with the graphic avia buildere tools?

I see only theses pages can’t be loaded by the Avia Editor:
· Maintenance Mode >>> I copy the code in the standar editor and paste it in the Avia Advanced Editor: don’t load it right.
· Example Page
· Menu pages in the header

Thanks for your answer. Just one comment, please: “downgrading your WordPress to v4.9.8 and PHP to v5.6” it’s not a great idea, about security reasons. I will get a enfold theme.

With this procedure, in my case, the updating was fine:
1.- I download the themeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme.zip and extract the enfold.zip
2.- only for having a backup I rename /wp-content/themes/enfold to /wp-content/themes/_enfold
3.- unzip the enfold.zip in a new folder enfold in a local hardisk. I ftp this new folder to /wp-content/themes/enfold
4.- I move the _enfold out of themes or delete, otherwise wp detects 2 enfold themes.
I hope it help you…

I get some web disorder with enfold 3.5.2 + wp 4.5, so I get back to use my backup. Now I don’t update to wp 4.5.
I’m waiting for the next enfold version, fixing the compatibility with wp 4.5. Do you know when it will be? -take your time, please-.
