The guilty plugin is WordPress SEO.
Have you know it to cause issues before? Are there any setting I should change if I want to use it, or cant I use it at all?

I did not find any options to flush permalinks.
But deactivating plugins did help. It now works.
The plugins I deactivated was:
Duplicate Post
Simple Image Sizes
Typekit Fonts for WordPress
Wordpress SEOI guess I turn one and one on to see which one is to blame?

It seems to give me the ability to change the color and look of the WHOLE heading. But in your example you have changed only the symbol “&” in the text “Home5: Portfolio style” layout.
So I still dont quite see how you managed to do that.

So you dont have a recomended pixel dimension?
After some trial and error I found that images in the dimensions 1000×809 display perfect. And ofcourse proportionally scale up or down if you like.
I was just wondering if you had a certain image width and heigh you recomend to use for this theme.
I will look into the plugin.
