Based on what he do hear from Kriesi, the update is really close for a release to theme forest.
We have also updated our other themes, to support php 7, so I am sure you will have it in your hands really fast.If we can help with any of the issues you are heaving, in the meantime, let us know.

We are really sorry you fill like that, but to ensure you we are working to eliminate all the bugs that are around, because of the new WordPress update but together with php ver 7 updates, we are trying to keep everything on a nice schedule.

best option is to create a form, that will submit on the testimonials custom post type.
You could use for example
https://ninjaforms.com/extensions/front-end-posting/

First of all thanks a lot for the detailed explanation and ofc matt from droping a hand.
For us to look forward, we would need access to the backend, is that possible?I can not guarantee a solution, as hes costumisation is a bit advanced and we do not offer support to that, but would like to give it a look if possible.
