It seems that on the preload template, color values did not work.

Yes it is. You can use an Rss Importer Script ( wpRobot for example ) import the posts every time they get published from wordpress.com into the site and they will have the original design requested.

What I would suggest to do, is please check
1. media uploads folder ( wp-content ) is on 775 same with the uploading folders file
2. check if there is any limit from the hosting companylet us know if that works our for you
