When viewing the work it shows that it is actually setup as homepage.
There must be something wrong with your cache into the site.
Please delete the page – disable cache and redo it.Let us know if it works after correctly.

You have to reupload WordPress also.
Please do that, but also keep a backup from wp-config.php ( and better a backup of all the site ).

For the ligthbox effect, you have when you insert a port, to disable the link when adding it.
That way, there will be no lightbox.Regarding the overlay, please add to your CSS
.avia_transform a .image-overlay { display:none !important; }Let us know if that fixes the issue for you

That is an issue with the CDN service and most probably how your hosting provider uses them.
Please do contact and check it server side, because it is not related to our theme at all.
