Importing pages into the web site, does not overwrite any page, except if the page name is the same.

Both ways work, I have done it with the way I suggest for a web site and it worked great for it.

You can make it with a disable: none, to the CSS class, but before do it, can u please let us know why do it?
That will drop your web site from search results a lot.

That error has nothing to do with our theme, I am afraid.
The issue is related to NGINX itself, read this post:
