Hi Victoria,
I found the problem.
I did more digging and started to disable plugins one by one. It seems one of the plugins (Simple History) we are using does not like to work with Enfold. As soon as I disabled this plug in all php error went away. I don’t know if Enfold has problem with other Security Plugins or not, but it definitely does not like the one we are using. Enfold support team, still has access to WP dashboard, in case you want to check it yourself.
ThanksHello Victoria,
That is typo. The php is 5.6.2 or higher. Please go back and read my response in regard to moving to php 7. Basically it is still in development state and hosting companies in US are reluctant to upgrade at this point. + honestly, this issue does not seems related to version of php on the server. just to let you know the big hosting companies in US are not upgrading to php 7 until 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2017 (if the development completed & released with stable version).
ThanksEvery time a different person reads our about our issue, we get a different solution to the problem and non has worked out so far. Also the last person updated the case, seems did not bother to read the case history. Here Victoria, again: It is not one or two sites. We are running 25 -30 websites and all on Enfold with Godaddy hosting and majority are on php 5.2.6. The person prior to you, also pointed sliders naming convention as a possibility, which was not the case. Then asked for the login credential, and I provided the login credential. So, someone kindly login and see if you can truly pinpoint the issue. This is one site, once you find the problem, I have to do it for many more sites.
In addition, based on support forum, it seems it is widespread complaint among Enfold users, so it can’t be specific to our sites / servers.
RegardsHey Yigit,
If you are familiar with Go daddy, they do not change their environment unless there is a massive effect effecting many customers. Still, I contacted them regarding php 7.0. They are saying that it is still on the works and they won’t update until later this year. The earliest time (if it happens quickly) will be end of 2nd quarter of 2017. Honestly, I don’t think this issue is related to version of php on the server. I started experiencing this around 2 updates ago (Enfold 4.0 and later updates).
ThanksSure, I have shared the info you requested in the private area. Please, if you find the issue & how to fix it, let me know every details, since I have to fix 20+ other sites with the same issue.
Thank you very muchHi Basilis,
Every site is with different server (all with GoDaddy). I have not changed the original name of sliders (see screen shot link in private section). Even on the ones I changed, I still get this error, no matter what naming convention I have used. I contacted Godaddy before opening this case, they referred me back to the developer of the theme, pending “errors coming from the script” & I do not have child theme, have not modified the any of the .php files.
ThanksHi Yigit,
I updated a couple of sites to 4.0.5 and Still gets the same jibrish error about php. Just go to your WP dashboard and click on plugins.
see original screen shot:

Thanks a million for looking in to this.Enfold Support,
I just updated a few sites from 4.0.2 and 4.0.3 to version 4.0.4 and still I have the same exact error. So, I guess the new update did not resolve this issue. Again, I am not using WordFence & all my plugins are up to date.
ThanksPlease see info requested in private date.
Yigit,
Worked like a charm. Thank you very much.Hi Nikko,
Thank you very much for trying this. Unfortunately this still does not resolve the problem and while it is more responsive, but still half the lower height of video is cut out. After not getting a response for a couple of days, I started trying different values in the slider setting. The only way I could get it to work is by changing the values in Slider Setting > Layout. These are the values that worked (& it took many many hours & tries). Also See the link in private section as well:Slider width: 100%
Slider height: 900Responsive: On
Max-width: 1920
Full-width: OnFull-width: On
Responsive under: 1920
Layers container: 1920Hide on mobile: On
Hide under: 768
Hide over:10000Thanks again
Hi Yigit & Ismael,
Thanks for taking the time to look into this. But still it is not working. Try to resize your browser. It floats to the right now & it does not resize correctly (responsive).
RegardsJanuary 13, 2017 at 4:27 pm in reply to: 2nd Request for help, Video does not line up or scale in advance layer slider #733182Enfold Support,
Would you please help us out and resolve this. All info are in Private Data.
ThanksThank you. Please see info in Private content.
Yes, I can see both icon & code now Yigit. Thank you very much.
When Enfold gets updated with new version in the future, are the new icons will be removed?
Best Regards
Amr / BijanI have posted ftp info privately. This is my problem too. I went through functions.php & I can’t find where Jouse has coded. Don’t know how magically he made yelp to show up in the social media profile.
Thanks a million for your help.Yigit,
I can’t get it to show under available social icons. Would you please make it available, like Jouse did with Yelp.
ThanksHello Jouse,
Thank you very much for adding Yelp Icon. But still I can’t see Icon Font Manager, like the way it is explained in the video (https://vimeo.com/75743285). I need to add Four Square Icon also, but don’t have the Icon Font Manager dropdown Selection. Appreciate if you add the Four Square or make the icon font manager option available in Enfold menu setting (There is no: Theme Option —-> General Setting) and it can’t find it under Enfold –> General Styling or advance styling.Thank you very much
Hi Ismael,
Yes we tried all solution recommended in this forum as well as the ones came up in our web search, including .htaccess.
When we tried .htaccess and added the maximum execution time out command, it crashed the site. We also tried .user.ini (as godaddy support suggested), but it had no effect.
As far as your suggestion that “Hosting provider have initial idea”, yes they do. They narrowed it down to Enfold Theme, since they can upload with other themes.
The work around for us right now is:
If getting upload error when uploading images, disable enfold theme and use 2016 WordPress Theme (or another theme). Upload the images to the library and switch back to Enfold theme.Just Another piece of info to help the developers:
This issue was happening on all hosting services when WordPress updated to 4.5. (with latest version of Enfold at that time).
When WP got updated to 4.5.1, the issue was disappeared on go daddy servers only, but remained on other hosting services.
Currently this issue remain on some hosting services, but not godaddy.I work on sites located on different hosting companies. Yes I do think it is server issue too, but remains to be fixed within Enfold Development team. As it started to happen on all sites when WordPress was updated to Versin 4.5 (All sites experienced the image upload if Enfold was the Theme and the only thing worked for us to increase the max_execution_time value through php.ini (we tried everything suggested on this forum as well as the web search suggestions). The php.ini solution worked on Goddaddy servers only, since many other hosting companies do not allow / support php.ini.
This issue still remains on several hosting companies (iPage to name one) even with the latest version of WordPress and latest version of Enfold, we still can not upload images ( I have to switch Theme, upload my images and switch theme back to Enfold). Yes, this is the server issue, but it happens only with Enfold theme. So the Enfold developers need make some configuration changes that meets some minimum defaults of severs on different hosting companies or whatever change it needs to behave more stable on different hosting servers.Just another piece of info that may help, this issue with uploading images started cropping up after WP 4.5 update were pushed out. I only had Enfold 3.5.2 & 3.5.3 on my sites. I don’t know if the earlier releases of Enfold theme were effected or not. But there is definitely some incompatibility between WordPress 4.5 & Enfold 3.5.2 & 3.5.3 that Enfold developers need to address on the next release of Enfold.
We had this issue too last week on all of our sites using Enfold (3.5.2 & 3.5.3) only.
After spending 3 days & trying different solutions, the only thing worked for us was to increase max_execution_time to 300 using php.ini (.user.ini & .htaccess did not work for us). Good luck.April 26, 2016 at 3:26 pm in reply to: can't upload images to media library, all sites w/ Enfold effected, urgent #622229Hello,
You have tried this after we fixed the problem.
Unfortunately all our site using Enfold were effected & we could bear the speed of response being offered by Enfold Support team (we provided enfold support with your requested info 5 days ago). After much of research on the web we discovered that Enfold theme has an issue with php & execution time limit. The only work around for us at this time, is using php.ini file & increasing this time limit. This only effected sites using enfold theme despite some of these sites are with different hosting companies.
This is a major problem for us and many Enfold theme users effected, as a simple search will provide the extend of the issue, and hope Enfold dev team fixes it on next future release.April 22, 2016 at 4:02 pm in reply to: can't upload images to media library, all sites w/ Enfold effected, urgent #620046I have placed all back end info you requested yesterday. Would someone get back to me. Please, all my sites using Enfold theme (3.5.3), image upload fails.

April 21, 2016 at 8:28 pm in reply to: can't upload images to media library, all sites w/ Enfold effected, urgent #619347As I mentioned in my original posting “All Solutions” & if you read through the link that you mentioned, it did not work for those one either.
