you would always need to use newest browser version. Of course sites won’t be displayed well in old browser versions. I checked on Chrome and Safari and everything looks good to me.

it’s because of the “>” you are using, which is typical HTML code item. I changed it to “=” which is working fine. Use HTML code/Unicode instead. Look at this table: http://unicode-table.com/de/#003E

as you did not mentioned which class name you have chosen and as you did not post any admin access to us for checking which class name you are using, use this code as an example and starting point:
