4.) Not sure what you are trying to achieve. Can you explain further and use screenshots to highlight your intentions please? you can use imgur.com or dropbox.

unfortunately function-set-avia-frontend.php is not a template file, that is why it won’t work inside your child theme.

I suggest to use a different image for mobile (one with the play button), which you can hide on desktop (and vice versa).

2.) Use a normal text widget and implement standard html code to display the pictures in question.

you need to use media queries for different screen sizes. For iPhone 6 screen size use something like this for example:

delete the masonry element in question and “Update” your page. Afterwards rebuilt it and check again.

you won’t loose any settings when deleting all theme files via FTP, as they are stored on the database. However, make sure to have a backup. Let us know when you are done with it and still have this issue.

try to delete all theme files via FTP before getting a fresh copy from your themeforest account, because there might be some corrupted theme files.

you are using quite a lot of plugin. Please deactivate all of them temporarily (maybe just vor 1 minute), to check if things get better for you. Afterwards you can activate them one by one again to see which one is causing the issue.

there is an error message appearing in Chrome console:
Font from origin ‘http://dev2.electrixinternational.com’ has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘http://dev2.electrixinternational.com.’ is therefore not allowed access.
Can you show this message to your host please? I think they can fix it for you.

I don’t think this issue is theme related and think it has more something to do with your server settings. I think the root of this issue is caused by this error, which appears on your website in chrome console:
Font from origin ‘http://www.gelbett.ch’ has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: The ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header contains multiple values ‘*, *’, but only one is allowed. Origin ‘http://flexside.ch’ is therefore not allowed access.
Are you using any CDN (content delivery network), as cloudflare etc.?
Show your host the error message from above. They should be able to fix it for you. You would have this error message with another theme as well.

irgendwelche andere Dateien werden nicht automatisch mit rübergezogen, sondern lediglich ein Abgleich der style.css wird vorgenommen, sobald du das parent theme importierst. Wenn das bei dir scheinbar nicht funktioniert, würde ich als erstes einmal den Cache leeren und anschließend einige Male deine Website hard refreshen.

you can use Enfold’s ALB editor instead of standard WordPress editor. Then you can use some layout elements, edit it and activate “Custom top and bottom margin” in “Row Settings” tab. Go for a margin-bottom value to get some more space.

versuche zunächst nur die Schritte mit dem Caching Plugin zu machen. Wenn das nicht ausreicht, müsstest du alle weiteren Plugins ebenfalls deaktivieren, um die Fehlerquelle heraus zu finden.

the problem is that this white row is normally the placeholder for your menu. When you just hide it via CSS (display: none), then your menu will disappear as well. Use my previous code and adjust as needed. You need to play around with the values a bit, until it fits for you.
