That worked – thank you!
What do I have to do to make it so warnings don’t get written in the log?
Hey Basilis,
Oh man, I’d really like to but in the backend is an outdated program that breaks when updated to 7.0 and so we have to keep it at this older version of PHP – I guess the other question is is there a version of Enfold that does work best with PHP 5.6? It’s been a theme for quite a long time and I assume there was a version back there that was optimized for the older version of PHP.
https://www.greatlakespromotions.com/ is the site by the way.
I cleared my cache on the browser and within WordPress and did a hard refresh and I’m still getting it overlapping.
It’s happening here as well: http://mosaicfilmexperience.com/about/
Thoughts?
Hmmm – I’ll look into it. I went in through FTP and deleted the cache manually to see if that would help along with clearing my own browser cache and turning off any of the performance options offered with Enfold from the backend but I can’t seem to get it to forget the old API. Maybe the hosting platform has another caching plugin?

Also, if that’s helpful – those are the Google Maps APIs that are enabled.
Yeah, sure thing.
They are saying that OFTEN a nested comment goes to the bottom and that person usually ends up just deleting their comment. I don’t have an example where a nested comment does get moved though. I don’t think it’s a simple code fix – just curious if you ever have seen this happen before or if there’s anything that could cause this.
Here’s a post with comments nested quite a bit:

I can’t seem to duplicate but she gets a lot of complaints about the comments not being nested correctly and just going to the bottom.
Hey Mike,
Thanks for the response.
That didn’t seem to do the trick. Is there something else I need to add in addition to that CSS?
Thank you!
Hey Mike,
That post highlights how to organize elements based on date and other types of sorting, but it doesn’t address the fact that your elements are pulling an event after that event has passed. For example, there is a default Event Calendar category pulling items and it should be nothing, and here you see right below is an element that occurred March 29th. Is there a script that deletes those events after they pass?
Okay, I brought the animation back – it doesn’t move the page around like it used to which was the main problem. It still waits to load till you get there but that’s fine as long as the page doesn’t shift. thanks!~
Hi Mike,
Now they don’t animate in but they still don’t load until you scroll over that section of the page so I still can’t direct link to the sub section still. Is there a way to make them all load on page load?
Hmmm – it’s still animating for me. Is there an additional bit of code that would be needed so that it doesn’t animate in and just loads on page load?
Hey Jordan,
It turned out to be an issue with caching and the latest update – it might be good to note that the latest update had all new files for Layerslider so even though I cleared the cache from the backend, I had to also go in through ftp and manually delete the cached files.
Sorry Victoria I forgot to touch base on this – turns out they had another person adding some code to the site that deleted them. We’re good.
To give further details to this – the layerslider shows up fine when you are logged into the backend of the site but don’t show up if you’re logged out.

Thanks!
Hey Victoria,
I changed this post to show titles:
https://screencast.com/t/8bYz2Nw1u
I started playing with the CSS to have the titles have a negative top margin and it just worked funky. Ideally if I could find the chunk of CSS that worked here:
https://screencast.com/t/tgMoC88Ocsg8
Then I could swap it out for the post slider element and get them to work in the same manner.
Well, I guess it’s more obvious when you see a project that has more items to slide through:
At the bottom the slider just fades through and when you show the title it only shows below the post – it would be awesome if there was a chunk of CSS I could plop in there to make it look the same on hover as it does on the landing pages.
OMG you just rocked my world. I never thought to do page specific CSS on a site. Yay! Worked great!
Hmmmm – that code doesn’t seem to be working. It still waits until I scroll completely over it, load the form at the bottom, and then scroll back up before it loads. I THINK it’s because the form at the bottom of the page also doesn’t load till after you scroll over it and it seems that any page that form is on it only wants to load those numbers after the form also loads.
Here you go!
Hi Rikard,
https://www.neurocorecenters.com/ – it’s in Chrome and sometimes it’s just a really long hesitation before it starts or you have to scroll past it and back up over it and then it starts animating.
We have it on a lot of pages and it would be far easier to make it not animate then to swap them all out.
Thanks!
Hi Rikard,
My apologies. The error can be reproduced by enabling Yoast SEO and hitting “Update” on any product.
Hi Mike,
I don’t have it built out yet but I wanted to find a way to mimic the bottom section of http://www.axiom-ag.com/ and have the ability to easily upload the image and overlay image in a section.
I’ve followed that post before with no change in quality of the image’s thumbnail. Frustrating that no one else has seemed to find a solution beside this one.

Let me know if getting login information would be helpful.
