AmelHi again Ismael,
I have just added the code you provided me and here is the complete css code I have in this theme but it still does not work for mobile phone as I still see the overlay in mobile..
img.mfp-img { padding: 0 !important; margin: 40px auto !important; border: white 1px solid !important; } .mfp-bottom-bar { margin-top: 10px !important; } div.avia-popup .mfp-close { top: -35px !important; } html { background-color: #FFFFFF !important } .avia-image-overlay-wrap .av-image-caption-overlay { display: none !important; }
and yes I am using this layout on the Enfold theme:

Hello,
ok will do, but is there any point to write a new thread for this last question here below ? since it is related ?
Here is the css code I do have from before on:img.mfp-img { padding: 0 !important; margin: 40px auto !important; border: white 1px solid !important; } .mfp-bottom-bar { margin-top: 10px !important; } div.avia-popup .mfp-close { top: -35px !important; } html { background-color: #FFFFFF !important }
and here is the code you send me in previous post to prevent hover on mobile devices
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { .image-overlay { display: none !important; } }
and here below is the results after I added your css on to my existing but it still do not prevents hover on mobile phone, perhaps something is wrong in the syntax in the code below?
img.mfp-img { padding: 0 !important; margin: 40px auto !important; border: white 1px solid !important; } .mfp-bottom-bar { margin-top: 10px !important; } div.avia-popup .mfp-close { top: -35px !important; } html { background-color: #FFFFFF !important } @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { .image-overlay { display: none !important; } }
thank you

thank you for reply and helping! I see it now and I understand… will make those changes ..

Amelbtw, can this internal linking using # be used on all enfold examples ? if yes than I can go away from this layout and use another one from the demos …
which I know may work fine on both desktop and mobile devices…Best regards
AmelHello,
but can you than explain me why this works for other Enfold layouts ? because in other layout on the desktop when I move the mouse over the image it animates either greyes out or pops up depending on the setup but on the mobile phone the image is displayed nice and clean not greyed out not poped up as it is on the desktop pc when I move the mouse over but displayed as a normal image… how can this work than ?
But is it possible to reconfigure the it so I make one theme for mobile devices tablets etc.. and one for desktop then I can configure the server to send the traffic that came from mobile devices to mobile based site where all “hover” are disabled and the traffic directed from desktops redirect them to desktop based theme which is normal and keeps the hover functions ?
thank you
Best regards
AmelHello,
what ??? may I ask why is this ?? for what reason ? such a nice theme on desktop does not work on the mobile phone ?
I also noticed that header image does not appears nice on a mobile/tablet devices… any way to fix this issue ? Yes I may call it issue as this should be
a part of the theme, todays responsive themes should work on all devices … don´t you agree ?thank you for the reply
Best regards
AmelHello,
ok, thank you for helping, it works just fine!
Best regards
AmelHello again,
yes I tried it but than I just get the Masnory styled images and not exact 1:1 … but ok we can leave it as it is now..
thank you
Best regards
AmelHello,
ok, thank you for the reply. I do not like Masnory styled layout that is the main reason why I do prefer 1:1 for thumbnails..
But can I use “Masnory” and modify it to be 1:1 in that case perhaps ?Best regards
AmelHello,
thank you for reply.No, my images do not have the same “real” dimension no… but why should this be important ? I have seen many themes that creates 1:1 squares where images do not have same real size… but script “crops” them on the fly or what so ever .. but I have seen it..
Also how can these rectangles that I have now be the same size when some images are vertical when viewed as big images … ? in short how can these rectangular thumbnails have the same size when images are different sizes and crop, some of my images are 1:1 in real, some are portrait based etc…
Just asking…
Thank you for the reply
Best regards
AmelHello,
no prob, it´s ok, seems to be working fine now yes, is it possible to get these thumbnails in 1:1 format ? 100% square ? and locked thumbnail image size so they not get bigger when user maximises the browser window ?
Thank you for helping !!
Best regards
Amelcan you please modify my entire code from my previous post as I can not get it working…
Also how can I get those images (thumbnails) displayed in 1:1 ? and not stretched over the entire screen when window is maximized ?Best regards

Hello,
thank you for the reply. It`s not working just tried to modify the code, and this is how the code looks like now, maybe I did something wrong, NOTE there is also other CSS that are modified and in use so your suggestion is located at the bottom of the code:
The code is added in “General Styling” – “Quick CSS”
img.mfp-img { padding: 0 !important; margin: 40px auto !important; border: white 2px solid !important; } .mfp-bottom-bar { margin-top: 10px !important; } div.avia-popup .mfp-close { top: -35px !important; } html { background-color: #FFFFFF !important } } .grid-entry { padding: 10px; }
What I want here is 2 things:
1. make spacing between images yes just as you understood
2. but also make those images 1:1 square thumbnails and add some fixed size so images do not spread over the entire window when user maximizes the browser window.Best regards

AmelHello Victoria,
thank you for the reply!
please see the attached screen shots in “private content” (link) and you will see what I mean.. If you still need web site access to test it I will provide it but I assume that screen shot will be enough..The main problem is as that on some smaller laptop monitors user needs to use scrolling to see the entire image while on bigger monitor such as 27″ it is not an issue, this is however normal behaviour BUT I am asking is there any option that theme/script can handle this so image is for example displayed 70% of the monitor size ? because now the image have fixed size which is ok for big monitors but not for smaller monitors…
Thank you again!
best regards
AmelHello,
ok, you can just go ahead and close this thread..

Amelok, I understand it now. But one important question, when you mentioned “socket” is this socket related to the issues that I am getting sporadic, say I am working on the dashboard changing the pages than refreshing the frontend part to see the changes etc.. but after some period I got the message in the browser bar “connecting to socket” and it can stay like that entire day and the page will not refresh until I close the Chrome an reopen it… Is this related to theme socket or this is something else ?
Thank you in advance!
Best regards
Ameladding code directly on to css solved my problem, however I got a message once I added this piece of code and saved it:
“These options are only available if you select the ‘boxed’ or ‘framed’ layout. Your currently have a different layout selected
You can change that setting at General Layout”But it work for me now in stretched mode as well so it is ok, I am fine with it.
Consider this thread as solved and feel free to close it!Thank you for helping!
Best regards
Ameljust tried but it does not help.. nothing is changed.. I already see white color on background in each of these layouts so no need to change it than ?
but it still shows dark grey or blue if I do not have enough content on the page… it looks just like footer but it is not a footer…Best regrds
AmelHello,
but changing layout will change entire theme look it will not stretch over the entire screen anymore in this case if I am correct ? I would not like to have this theme on the middle of the screen or fixed in any way because this will reduce the size… correct me if I am wrong… It is stretched layout I like best ..
Thank you
Best regards
