Hey Ismael,
Thanks for the quick reply! Sure, here’s a link:
Have to admit I am not sure if I modified this myself because I have been workin gon this site fo over a year and my memory is failing me. ;)
It would also be great to know how to remove the current post from the related posts section.
Thank you!
Have a nice day!
May 5, 2021 at 2:49 pm in reply to: Enfold footer widgets are not responsive–they do not stack #1298587Hi Kriesi team,
I had the same issue, perfect solution. Thank you!
Best regards
MeikeHey again,
just solved the issue myself apparently. I took out the (intentionally set) manual height of the blog, that solved the issue for the desktop version. At that point, the problem still occured when narrowing the browser window. I then took out the additional CCS we had added together – problem solved also in the tablet and smart phone version.
Thank you for the great support anyway!
Best regards
MeikeHey Nikko,
thanks! I updated to 4.8.1 for now. No change, just that the header became huge (double size as well probably). The issue only occurs on the posts, not on the pages.
Probably best to provide you with a temporary admin login. Would be grateful if you could have a look. Thank you!
Cheers
MeikeHey Jordan,
awesome, worked like a charm! Thank you so much!
Best regards,
MeikeHey Jordan,
so sorry! Now it works! :)Kind regards
MeikeHi Kriesi,
sorry for the delayed reply. The problem is now occuring on two of my sites, both running Enfold. My provider is Strato. Called them several times and they assured me that the problem is not on their side and that it needs to be about the content on the website.
Frontend works fine on both pages, backend is not editable with the error message mentioned above.
Providing you with the login details of both pages in the private section.
Thanks!
Kind regards
Hi Victoria,
deactivated all plugins one by one, did not do the trick unfortunately.
The editing function keeps coming back for a minute or so sometimes, and then the same error message pops up again.

Hi Victoria,
thanks for checking!
Editing the main/start page still brings along the same issue though – please see the screenshot.Kind regards,
MeikeHi Kriesi,
I would very much appreciate a reply to mine, the issue has not been solved yet and it’s a bit urgent by now.Thank you very much!
Kind regards,
MeikeHey Rikard,
thanks so much for the quick and helpful reply, and apologies – I was mistakingly assuming to be running the latest version of Enfold.
So after theme and PHP update, everything was working like a charm.
However, after some minor content editing, the problem reoccured.
Feel free to use the login provided to check. Thanks!Best regards,

Hi Victoria,
thanks for checking and apologies – actually it’s true, it stopped behaving strangely. Might have been a cache issue, I suppose.
Great theme, great support, thanks a lot for solving this! :)

Hey Jordan,
thanks, that caused a definite improvement of the header behaviour already.
Not quite there yet though – once one starts scrolling down on the mobile and the sticky header shrinks, it also moves down a little bit so the content shows above the header when scrolling down.
Any hint on how to fix this so the header really sticks to the very top of the page?
Best regards,
MeikeHi Victoria,
appreciate the quick reply, thanks!
Just to make sure because I am paranoid about losing the content of my site while updating via sftp – which folders/files would I be replacing without losing the content?
All the best,
MeikeUpdate: The site is not offline anymore (this was a server issue which is now solved), but reports a php error (please see in private content)
The slideshow on the starting page also seems to be affected by this.

MeikeHi Victoria,
thank you for the recommended threads. I had tried the second one before, without success unfortunately, and the first one is a bit difficult to understand with the private replies in between and somehow beyond my level of technical knowledge, sorry.
If it’s possible for you to log in and have a look, I would be very grateful!
Warm regards,
MeikeHi Yigit,
thank you very much, that was it. :)May I ask if there are any plans to improve your in so many other ways amazing theme so it can handle special characters in file names? There are so many people who do not know that they should not be using specials characters in file names, it will happen a lot I suppose. WordPress is a CMS built for non-professionals without programming skills and even in URLs special characters are okay by now so people are not paying much attention to this if they ever did at all.
Thanks a lot for the great support and wonderful theme!
Best regards,
MeikeThank you, here we are:
Just to add, these are screenshots from Safari on a Mac, same or similar issue occurs on iPhones and several browsers, maybe good to run a cross-browser test with the links mentioned above.
Looking forward to your reply!
Kind regards,
MeikeStrange – might be the exact problem I’ve been describing! :)
To make sure, please can you let me know which email address to send the screenshots to, thank you.Kind regards,
MeikeHi Ismael,
thank you for your reply!
Not solved yet, please have a look at the screenshots from Safari on Mac right here, and it’s just one of several desktop browsers portfolio and blog do not run on properly.Appreciate your help, thank you!
Hi Andy,
thanks for your reply – the issue is not solved though. I get a lot of feedback also both from Windows and from Mac users (Safari) as well that the pictures in the portfolio and the blog sections do not load properly/completely/at all.
Any solution found maybe in the meantime already?
Looking forward to your reply and thank you, Kriesi team for an amazing theme otherwise!
Kind regards,
MeikeHi Kriesi team,

MeikeHey Basilis,

MeikeHi again,
