Hi, I have looked and seen that it seems to be working properly. Thank you,

Ok, I have added it but it does not save. I will try to save it once more here and i will post it in the private content.
I have created several WordPress solutions using the Enfold theme and again I find myself running into the same error as always.
“Could not connect to Google Maps with this API Key.”I have followed the guidelines to the letter and yet they still do not work. I have verified that the WordPress instance is fully up-to-date, as is the theme. Also, I disabled every plugin and tried again. I even went the extra step and downloaded a google maps plugin (WP Google Maps) and tested that to see if I could get the API key to work via that plugin. That plugin works, proving that the API key is not the issue.
Can I please get the assistance of an Enfold moderator to resolve this issue. This site was to be done days ago and time is of the essence. Thank you in advance.
To recap. the following steps have been taken:
– disabled the entire plugin folder (NO CHANGE)
– updated theme by uploading theme folder via ftp
– updated avia folder on it’s own via ftp
– replaced local copy of avia modal with entirety of what you provided.
I have checked the SSL. I have verified permissions. I do not know what is happening here. Also, when I looked on the server for this data in avia-modal, the file did not have the code you claimed in it.I replaced the file with what you provided and the error is still there. Nothing changed…
Yes, please assist. I have tried everything i can think of. I have checked file permissions, done ftp transfers. Made the necessary updates on my local machine (where wordpress and enfold work, i might add) and nothing fixes it. The classic editor plugin makes it look like it is going to work but still, the console logs the errors for avia modal and tinymce.
This has gone on for several weeks now and I am forced to make all the updates for the client on my behalf, which means I had to add 60 products myself to the site today and that’s time and money that I am not getting from them.
Please help!
Thank you.The domain is available but the edit page brings up a white screen.
The website is currently inaccessible. Please try again later, as the hosting company is experiencing issues.

Hello,
I removed the file avia-modal.js from the location in the parent theme and replaced it with the latest version downloaded. There was no change and with the dev tools up all the same js errors are being thrown with tinymce and avia-modal.
No, i have no active custom scripts. I updated the theme files on this LIVE server as well as my LOCALHOST on my machine. While the update didn’t take properly on the Live server, the Localhost went quite well. Everything seems to be in working order on that end. That said, using wp all-in-one migration tool, i made an export of the localhost then imported to the Live server. I thought at that point my issue would have been addressed but it seems that something more is at play here.
The only other change I can think of that it could be related to is the recently added SSL certificate, as the theme files and the WordPress files are up-to-date.
Your thoughts? Thanks again.

Please help!

I too cannot edit pages since I updated to the latest version of Enfold and WordPress. I even have the classic plugin enabled. The JavaScript console in Firefox is throwing errors related to tinymce and $.aviamodal for starters.. Please look at my forum post for more information on the console errors and troubleshooting steps taken thus far. It is all in there. Of course I am happy to assist. Thanks!! https://kriesi.at/support/topic/javascript-errors-resulting-in-pages-not-editable/

I manually uploaded the latest version of the theme via ftp. The site is still not allowing me to interact with any of the elements. None of them pop up when edit is clicked. JS is still bugged. Thanks .

February 24, 2019 at 5:12 am in reply to: Javascript errors resulting in pages not editable #1070830This reply has been marked as private. With the latest update of WordPress and the latest theme files I noticed a rather important issue. When choosing edit page (visual editor) I got the white screen of death. I activated the classic editor plugin and the page went from whitescreen to showing all the visual editor elements. Only now, the issue is that I can interact with the elements but am not able to edit anything.. I added a debug plugin and can see a variety of JS errors. Can someone please assist me with this?
Hello, I am having the same issue. I have purchased this theme several times and am currently trying to get the pagination to do the same as everyone else here.
I gave the above solution a try; put the code inside of my child theme functions file and uploaded it to the test server. I reload the page and it throws a 500 error. So then I remove the code and upload the functions file again, and the website comes back. Can someone please help me resolve this? It is driving me crazy!

This is a site link:
That fixed it. Thanks. Sorry to be such a bother but I am running into two final problems that I have tried to resolve without any luck.
The About page, where the ‘team member’ bios are, the ‘read more’ button won’t scroll through the text if the screen size calls for it. I added a overflow action to it but it does not seem to be working. Can you offer some insight?
Finally, my last concern is the menu. The logo is overlapping the ‘get property quote’ link on mobile. My styles are not changing it.
Thanks again for all of your assistance.
Hi again, I noticed that the main logo has a href hover that extends past the logo into an area where that should not be clickable. It is overtaking other events at times. Can you offer some advice? Thank you!
Never-mind, I fixed it in the footer.php file. Thank you for your assistance.
Thanks Jordan, that does override whatever is causing the issue, though I will have to add the hover again, but if you look at the home page, you will see the custom toolbar area i created is only showing as a 1px top border for the footer, rather than what it is supposed to be.
Hey Jordan,
I removed it and the issue is still there. That would rule out the script then, huh. Not sure what is going on with my styles to make this happen. Inside the Team Member Description field I have added that button and the hidden content div for the pop-up. Not sure if that would be causing the issue. Once I remove the section with these team members the footer goes back to normal.
May 8, 2017 at 5:58 pm in reply to: Team Member Descriptions and possible read more link into a modal #789745Hi there. Thanks so much for posting this. I have made use of the above suggestions with some mild difference in CSS but for some reason it is affecting my footer. Can someone tell me why the footer is now blacked out as opposed to how it normally is on the home page, for example.
Thank you!
