Please go to Enfold theme options > Performance and check “Disable Emoji/Smiley Support”

I have the same problem: disable emojis!
I tried with plugin – doesn’t work
I tried to find Enfold theme options > Performance – does not exist in my (Child-) Theme.Any other solution?

Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.4.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Please note that you might have to delete the old version before you upload the new one in order for it to install properly.
