    After updating to 4.4, I was not able to get the instagram widget working again. Tested on multiple browsers. Creds sent privately

    Hey bluesbrush,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Perhaps of interest to also mention that when trying to plug in various accounts into the instragram widget, I get a few different versions of not working.

    “only visible for admins – You need to specify an instagram username”
    sometimes just says “You need to specify an instagram username”
    and always includes “no images available at this moment”

    I’m also getting the No images available at the moment message on the Instagram widget after an update to 4.4.1 on WP 4.9.6.

    Can you please remove the widget, clear the cache and try adding the widget again?

    Having all these issues as well. Now it’s stuck on the “You need to specify an instagram username”. I updated the theme, checked PHP version on hosting, removed and re-added the widget, and all the other suggestions mentioned in various threads.

    Hi,

    It can be an issue with the configuration of permitions and php installation of server, it is not just our theme.
    Can you in the mean time use something else, until we can push an update? A related Instagram Plugin maybe?

    I am having the same issue. In tracking this down I see that when I update the widget settings the code is trying to update avia_instagram_widgets_cache instead of widget_avia-instagram-feed

    That is preventing the system from applying the settings. This only happens when I am in wp-admin/customize.php (Widgets)

    When I am in /wp-admin/widgets.php and editing the Instagram widget it will properly save the settings.

    I have verified the settings are saving to the wp_options table for the option_name “widget_avia-instagram-feed”

    I have attempted to remove and reinstall and cleared cache.
