    Greetings,

    I use “Fullwidth easy slider” and I have inserted youtube video link.
    It works perfectly on desktop computer.

    But If I use mobile phone (android or iOS) there is no video playback. Even if I setup “fallback image for mobile devices” it show error on mobile device – instead of picture it says [object Objeckt].

    Is this a bug or what are we doing wrong?

    Hey prana3stil,

    Autoplay doesn’t work on mobile devices by default, but your fallback image should work of course. Are you running the latest version of the theme (4.4)? If not then please try to update: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. If that doesn’t work then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.

    Hi Rikard,

    Yes we have version 4.3 and fallback image displays “object” errors.
    Is there option we can set height of fallback image for mobile devices?

    When we update will this crush our custom settings? (css, styling in general styling color selection, link for social icons etc.)

    Hi Marc,

    The update will not remove your setting, but still, we do recommend to always make a backup before updating anything on your website.

    Thanks for linking to that thread – I keep seeing it pointed to as a solution for this issue, but two quick questions:

    1. Will this simply be included as a fix in an update anytime soon?
    2. If not, how should that solution be implemented in a child-theme scenario so as not to lose the fix upon updates?

    Same issue as OP, and many other OPs – Fullwidth Easy Slider with video and backup image, but when viewed on mobile, instead of the image, it shows “[object Object]”

    The solution linked to is a little vague about where exactly the code should be placed – whether it’s inserted or replacing a few lines – and, like I mentioned, if it’s not going to be included in a Theme Update, then I’m not sure how to implement it in a Child Theme.
