First of all thank you for the fantastic and great job you do ☺ I Love Enfold it had changed my life.
I have the same issue on my website. Since weeks…
Here is my domain, and for example the page : http://www.monaleprince.com/cgv
And that’s the first time I open a ticket on support so I don’t know how it works…
I did desactivated all plugins now to test if it keeps the text… Let u know.

Thank you for helping me because I have an emergency : I must finish my website and publish it in 3 days for business agenda.
I can as you did make a new text. But if you save it, and go back it disapears, so how change my text in a long page?

This is a bit strange issue.
To reproduce the issue just type a line of text and switch between the visual and text mode in the text editor to see some text disappear and extra inline styles being added.
I suspect that some files are not updated properly which is causing this issue.
The fix may be very simple please access the wp-content/themes/ folder via FTP or the file manager from the hosting control panel.
Completely delete the “enfold” folder (do NOT rename the folder and leave it there) and upload a fresh copy of the theme.
Please make sure you have a backup of the files just in case if you need to restore.

Hi,
I assure you deleting the enfold folder from wp-content/themes folder will not affect your data. Your data will be completely safe in the database.
We are only going to delete the corrupt enfold files and upload a fresh copy of the theme files via FTP :)
Also, contact your hosting company and make sure the server on which your site is hosted is running on PHP 7.

We did the test : 1) renew the theme folder directly with FTM 2) switch on PHP7
But the bug is remaining… It continues, you can do the test I did put the login and pass in private mode
I have created for you an account on my WP and put you information there.

Hi,
I tried to troubleshoot the issue but the WordPress user does not have full admin rights.
Please enable debug mode for Advanced Layout Builder
Copy the shortcode of the page and paste it into a new blank page to create a copy of the page and let us know if the issue persists on a new page.
If you still have an issue please Please post us the login credentials and the user ” Role ” making that the highest possible.

Sorry now you have admin rights, I have allready my IT guy who tried several time to solve this issue.
And we did all we could with your recommandation : Upgrade PHP7 + replace WP enfold theme with FTP
Now we let you study this case and I wish solve it, because I had a new version of my site to put online, and I am blocked for my business.

I check the site for the issue and installed a child theme and also enabled debug mode. I have disabled what could be a conflicting plugin like code editor and duplicate post.
The text editor is functioning better now you can edit and save text. I am able to create a private test page please see the URL in private content. for the time being you can delete the old page which is corrupt and add this page to your site.
If you provide us with FTP details we can try to replace the theme files from our end to see if the text editor can function without creating the extra alignment tags.
Lastly, please delete the menu items which are invalid and create a new main menu and save it from Appearance > menu

I have updated the theme files and re-named the old theme file as enfold.old and changed the styles.css to styles.css.bak.
Deactivated all plugins (Please delete all the plugins and install a fresh copy of only what is required).
The problem still persists please check if the text editor works fine with the default WordPress theme active.

We have still the issue even all plugins disabled.
And now I have the issue even on simple text page like CGV not only on levelstructure pages (build with models)
Really this is very painful for my timing and business.
Could you please make an effort and ask some additionnal help perhaps with and expert?
When you say : ” if the text editor works fine with the default WordPress theme ” what do u mean? I should deactivate or uninstall the enfold theme?
But what will become my data and configuration?

The content of the text block element are not accessible because the main div tag was not closed properly. We removed the tag. ( see private field )
