Dear Kriesi Team,
I’m having trouble with the Full Width Easy Slider in the ENFOLD theme. Here the background:
– It happens whenever I use 3 images or more, each with a caption. 3 images and caption on 2 images leads to no problem.
– Only 1 plug-in is installed. Active or deactivated makes no difference
– Different image size makes no difference
– The standard Easy Slider has no issue, only the full width Easy Slider
– Theme and WP were updated late Feb 2018Symptoms:
– Page could be published but became uneditable (only when rolled back) as the slider is stuck loading
– Auto slide is active but not working on published pageAny pointers are welcome :)

Thanks for the login details. Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.2.5) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

Thanks for the feedback, I see an error on the page when trying to edit it. Please see private.
I’m not sure if it will work but you can try to activate debug mode in order to see builder shortcodes: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/, then copy the shortcode to a new page to see if that helps. Otherwise I think you will have to recreate the page unfortunately. Did you add anything special when it started to break? Maybe shortcode or a custom script for instance?

I’ve actually been building a back up page and the same issue happens again. Always with the full width slider and always once I put three images each with a caption in it.

Thanks for the feedback. I created a test page with an Easy Slider with three images, and that seems to be working fine. Please see private. What exactly are you adding other than the images? If you are using html markup for your captions and not closing the tags properly, it might cause the builder to break.

The “Easy Slider” works just fine for me. I have problems with the “Full Width Easy Slider”.
Try creating that slider with 3 pictures, each with a caption. The builder should break.
Regarding the captions, I’m not using HTML Markup.

I change the test page to a Full Width Easy Slider and it’s still displaying as it should, and the builder is working. Maybe you could use that page instead?

Somehow it works on the test page and I haven’t been able to replicate the issue on that page.

We’re having the Advanced Editor get stuck in loading on many pages. It happened on our portfolio item and it “randomely” stopped and it is now happening to our single post.
We only have one plugin and even when the plugin is deactivated the advanced editor remains loading.
If it is happening so many times on different elements that I imagine this is a problem on Theme or WP level.
Any recommendations on what we should do? We’re lost and frustrated at the moment.

I was able to add images and caption text and it seems to work, it is still there now. Please check.

Use 3 imagines, each with a caption header, and caption text. In the caption text, add 3 lines.
Also, as described. The issue with the advanced editor getting stuck in loading is happening now in posts as well. And there we’re not using the slider.
That is why I raised the concern that this seems to be an overarching issue with our WP/Theme installation somehow but need your help to identify the root cause.
