Hi guys,
This is so frustrating. I literally had this working exactly how I wanted it, then I changed the name of the custom post type and now it doesn’t work.
This is a bit complicated to explain. But basically I have set up at custom post type called All Accommodation to display hotels using the toolset types plugin. I then created a custom taxonomy called hotel locations to categorise the hotels by location. This information is used by the Essential Grid plugin to display a grid of hotels that can be filtered by destination. See private content for links.
The breadcrumb trail for the accommodation page is Home / Holidays / Costa Rica / Accommodation
Previously, when you click on a hotel link displayed in the grid on the accommodation page, the breadcrumb would go to Home / Holidays / Costa Rica / Accommodation / Grano de Oro
Grano de Oro in this case is the name of the hotel. This is how I wanted it to work, even though the URL switches to mysite.com/all-accommodation/grano-de-oro as this is the accommodation directory made using custom post types.
The URL for the custom post type used to be something different, so I had to change it. Since then the breadcrumbs have changed.
Now when you click on the Grano de Oro link the breadcrumbs revert to Home / Grano de Oro
This is not what I want.
Can you shed any light as to why it changed? Before I didn’t need to do any code, the breadcrumbs just worked automatically. More info in private content.

Have we added any custom code to your theme previously?
Do you know that?
Because adding a Custom Post Type, might have also added some custom functionality to it.Best regards,

Nope I haven’t added any custom code, only a few quick CSS edits.
Thanks

BasilisFebruary 26, 2018 at 8:48 pm #917984Hi Basilis,
I just checked, it is definitely the correct link and password. Is it telling you the password is wrong?
Could you quickly try again?
Cheers
February 27, 2018 at 9:00 am #918276Hi,
Can you give us ftp access? and allow us to make some modifications. Also please use a child theme: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/ so any modifications we make we will be on the child theme and you can update the Enfold theme without losing the modification.
Best regards,
