Hi, the child theme does not clone the parent theme. I have already contacted your assistance, which has created a theme for son enfold, who has cloned his father. From the son theme I changed the general style from theme options and everything stopped, now no longer changes the style and does not even matter the father.

    Hi zacluig!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

Did you import the parent theme options after the child theme activation? More info on the following documentation.

Good morning, everything was kindly performed by your Yigit moderator. Yigit Inserted the preset child theme, I could not do it due to the poor preparation in programming. After Yigit arranged and activated the child theme, I tried to change the general style from one style to another in the child theme. When I changed the general style of the child theme I noticed that the general style was not applied to all the pages of the site, especially to the blog. Given the mistake I decided to bring the child theme back to the general style of the father. I tried from the theme options to import / export in the child theme but without success, some pages did not care about setting the parent theme. After I have abandoned the use of the child theme returning to activate and use the parent theme. The child theme does not clone all settings to all pages of the parent theme. After a few days the theme update ENFOLD arrives. Update the parent theme and by magic, by re-importing / exporting to the child theme, the child theme resumes the settings of the general style of the parent. Now I’m using the child theme but know that if you had to change the general style in the child theme, it does not change it to all pages. Best regards

Cordiali saluti

Hi, I have serious problems with importing the parent theme settings to the child theme. The import does not take place correctly. The site in question is https://www.new-generation-life.it/ on which your ENFOLD Theme is installed.
The goal of this report is to be able to clone the parent theme in the child theme.
Thank you. As soon as I have successfully completed the importation from the father to the child, I am updating the thema which is waiting.

    Hi!

I believe it was the way your child theme was created, it usually is. Therefore i replaced it with a pre-built one as the first thing and that helped :)

    Cheers!

I’m not sure if I understand what you mean by your last post, did you get your problems solved or not? If not then please try to explain what remains to be fixed.

Hi, the problem concerning the import / export of the child theme is solved. Another problem remains to be solved. On the child theme, when I change the general style it does not change. Thank you for your kind support.

I went to Performance > General Settings and disabled “Browser Cache” and that helped. Please review your website :)
