John TorvikOctober 21, 2017 at 4:20 pm #867065Hi John,
How do i upload the key file? I will give you SSh access, FTP won’t work very well because of permission.

October 22, 2017 at 5:46 pm #867230Hi,
Your LayerSlider shows this error in the system status:LayerSlider uses the uploads directory for image uploads, exporting/importing sliders, etc. Make sure that your /wp-content/uploads/ directory exists and has write permission.
with a link to more info, please check.
Also your WordPress core shows this error:An automated WordPress update has failed to complete - please attempt the update again now.
it may have to do with the same write permission error.
I also see that your theme editor is hidden, are you using a security plugin?Best regards,
MikeOctober 22, 2017 at 9:21 pm #867323Hi Mike,
I update the wordpress manually. Even if you change the permission of the upload directory to 777 it won’t work. The only thing im using is mod_security, i turned off but still have the same problem. Everything was working fine until i upgraded the theme. Even if you turn off the plugin on the theme functions.php it wont work. The plugin won’t even show up on the theme editor which is odd.
October 22, 2017 at 9:49 pm #867341Hi,
WordPress has been known to cause false positives in mod_security, check this out:Best regards,
MikeOctober 23, 2017 at 1:35 am #867387Hi Mike,
I turned it off.
October 23, 2017 at 4:29 pm #867686Hi Mike,
Our developer has switched form LayerSlider to EasySlider temporarily. He created this page https://www.infosec.com.br/pagina-de-teste-de-banner/ which still using the LayerSlider for testing purpose.
October 24, 2017 at 4:55 am #867957Hi,
It seems to be a jQuery issue. What is the version of WordPress and the theme?
Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at eval (eval at <anonymous> (layerslider.kreaturamedia.jquery.js:13), <anonymous>:1:216) at layerslider.kreaturamedia.jquery.js:13 10:53:01.969 layerslider.custom.transitions.js:1 Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ; 10:53:02.030 www.infosec.com.br/:166 Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at www.infosec.com.br/:166 10:53:02.030 www.infosec.com.br/:167 Uncaught TypeError: lsjQuery is not a function at www.infosec.com.br/:167

I’m using the latest version for the WordPress and the Enfold theme.
October 24, 2017 at 9:18 pm #868403Hi guys,
Our developer found something interesting. If you open the testing url “https://www.infosec.com.br/pagina-de-teste-de-banner/” on Safari the LayerSlider seems to be working just fine, but when you switch to other browsers it won’t work.
October 25, 2017 at 11:03 am #868649Hi infosecsecurity,
Are you deferring jQuery loading? Looks like you have the license to Layer Slider, you can ask their support team too since the errors are with their scripts.
Best regards,
VictoriaOctober 31, 2017 at 11:32 pm #871020We are having the same problem with the jquery error noted by Ismael for infosecsecurity’s website:
Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined at eval (eval at <anonymous> (layerslider.kreaturamedia.jquery.js:1)
The website is updated to WP 4.8.3 and Enfold 4.2, but the layerslider is just showing a white area with no images/no slides. Our Enfold license is up-to-date. We don’t have a separate license for LayerSlider and haven’t needed one for any of our other sites (which are working fine). Any solution for this problem?
November 1, 2017 at 1:37 pm #871207Hi GWS.
If you are using cloudflare, turn off the rocket loader.
November 1, 2017 at 2:19 pm #871234Hi,
Thanks for sharing infosecsecurity, did you try that out GWS?
Best regards,
RikardNovember 1, 2017 at 6:27 pm #871334Cloud Flare’s Rocket Loader was the problem for us. Once disabled, the layerslider starting showing up again. Thanks for pointing this out, infosecsecurity.
November 1, 2017 at 6:45 pm #871340We had the same problem.
November 2, 2017 at 1:38 pm #871650Hi,
