Hi there,
We’re using the Perfectly Manual Masonry gallery on many of our pages, but the order the images is being displayed is incorrect. We’re using the Post Types Order-plugin to re-order the Portfolio items but it’s still incorrect. On this page image number 7 and 8 is reversed: http://detmondaeneskur.dk/koekken-paa-boulevarden/
Flushed cache, deleted images and portfolio items and started over. Same problem. Alså tried deactivating all plugins and set the Order by in the gallery to Date og Name – still no luck.
WordPress is 4.7.1
Enfold is 3.8.4Best regards

February 2, 2017 at 10:11 pm #742040Hi,
Sorry for delayed response I tried to replicate the ones on the link you have given, however I couldn’t get the same results. Can we ask for a temporary admin access? so we can take a look at the settings.

February 4, 2017 at 7:47 am #742686Hi,
Thanks for the login, I’m still scratching my head on this. I did notice 1 thing which is the setting you used is 1px gap and it has same gap as large gap, I used the same settings as you have and tested the images you used with the proper tags and it’s working properly on my end. Can you try to update it to the latest version of Enfold 3.8.5 also try to deactivate all plugins. Hope this helps.
Cheers!
NikkoFebruary 6, 2017 at 1:03 pm #743325Hi Nikko,
I’ve put some css on the 1px gap – but it has nothing to do with the images order.
I’ve update Theme and deactivated all plugins. The problem is still there.
Image 7 (is set as Portrait) shows as no. 8 on the page.
Image 8 (is set as Portrait and Landscape) shows as no. 7 on the page.
And looking further into the Portfolio items for the http://detmondaeneskur.dk/koekken-paa-boulevarden/ image 4, 5 and 6 are also showing in the wrong order.
Would be great if this could be fixed.Best regards
February 10, 2017 at 3:32 pm #745455Hi,
Yes, it has nothing to do with image order but I just find it weird why 1px gap is not working as it should on your site. Also the image order is good at the start but starting with image 4 it seems orientation is more on right to left with the order which is also weird. I also couldn’t see any errors. Have you added some js (javascript) or jquery script to the theme?
Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 25, 2017 at 3:39 pm #751776Hi Nikko,
No, no js or jquery is added. I’ve just tested the same Portfolio settings on a fresh install on another domain – same problem. Your Masonry doesn’t show the correct order. Could you please look into this as my client is getting a little impatient.
Best regards
March 1, 2017 at 8:12 am #753486Hi,
I have already tested it and I already tried to fix it as much as I can however I couldn’t, and have tested it on my end and it worked properly. Also I noted 1px gap has same gap as large gap, it’s not related on the ordering but might be implicating a problem that is causing issue with the order. I’ll be asking my fellow moderators to look on this as I don’t think I am able to help further.

NikkoMarch 1, 2017 at 9:57 am #753560Hey!
I tried de-activating all active plugins and that helped with the order. I believe issue is related to “Post Types Order” plugin. Please adjust it’s settings or contact plugin author

YigitApril 4, 2017 at 9:16 am #771588Hi there,
We found out that the problem with the incorrect order is when we place a Masonry inside a Color Section.
We deleted the post types order plugin. Sorted the Portfolio items after date. Set Perfect Manual Masonry and large gap.
On this Page the Masonry is now placed outside any Section and being sorted correct: http://detmondaeneskur.dk/koekken-paa-boulevarden/
On this Page the Masonry is placed inside a Color Section and being sorted incorrect: http://detmondaeneskur.dk/koekkener/flisekoekken-paa-frederiksberg/
Can you fix this issue?
April 6, 2017 at 11:21 am #773102Hi mariajoensen,
The easiest solution is not to use color section. The color section applies more structure and css rules that interfere with how you want to show you content, just don’t use that extra wrapper, unless it serves a very important role.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
