June 20, 2016 at 9:33 pm #651106Hi,
Updating your theme to latest version 3.6.1 should fix this issue. Please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and make sure your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/.
If it does not help, I am afraid you might need to update the theme manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Unfortunately not all Server environments are able to make use of the auto update feature provided by ThemeForest :/

VinayJune 21, 2016 at 11:00 am #651383thanks, the theme updates has solved it.
June 21, 2016 at 4:17 pm #651557i just updated another with the latest version of the enfold and i am getting the below error message both in the frontend and the back end: what do i do to fix it
Warning: require_once(includes/admin/register-widget-area.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/digitalente/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 397
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘includes/admin/register-widget-area.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/digitalente/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 397

June 21, 2016 at 9:43 pm #651739Hi!
The error may be coming from plugins or the theme. To find out access the wp-content/themes/ folder via control panel file manager or FTP and rename the ‘enfold’ folder to ‘enfold-old’ and see if you still get the error.
If you still get the error rename the ‘plugins’ folder to ‘plugins2’ you should be able to get in.
If you do not get the error after renaming ‘enfold’ folder go ahead and download a fresh copy of the theme from themeforest and extract the ‘enfold’ folder from the package and upload it to wp-contents/themes/ you should be good :)
Let us know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
VinayJune 21, 2016 at 11:14 pm #651772when all pluging was deactivated and the theme not renamed, i am still getting the same error.
but when i renamed the theme, the wordpress backend works but the frontend does not work, it is showing :
“The theme directory “enfold” does not exist.”
